If Kovalev beats Hopkins & Stevenson, will they say "the 175 division is weak"?

Most Americans are not bigots, most are fair.

There's are a few who constantly trash European fighters, they do it so much that it seems like there's a lot of them. But if you actually count them there's really only a few.

Ten years from now everyone will say Kovalev beat an old man.

Act your age. Quit constantly looking under your bed for boogeymen. If you really want to find one, I would suggest starting with a mirror.

Nah! More like 10 years from now people will be undermining the fact that a 49 year old Hopkins whopped "overrated hype job Kovalev".

Very possible and with Hopkins I wouldn't be suprised! I can't help thinking of Hopkin's age when looking at this match up. I know B-Hop's been incredible in defying "Father Time" but it gets us all sooner or later. It's a glaring intangible (In Kovalev's favor) that I can't ignore. I'm betting Kovalev by TKO (Ref stoppage) but it would be incredible to see Hopkins win this! :bbb :good

You're lying, I don't post on any "white power" website.

You post on the gay discussion website gayspeak with the same username "JAB5239" you use here, people can do a google search and easily find your posts.

That a 50 year old man can beat 90% of the young boxers at LHW is are real staement on exactly how weak the division is.
After Saturday following Kovalev getting schooled it will appear even weaker.

Just think, in another 30 hours or so, Bernard Hopkins will be 3/4 the way to being LHW Undisputed Champion.

If he beats Kovalev tomorrow you can effectively crown him the 100% LHW Undisputed Champion.

Even with styles making fights, there is no such thing as defeating Kovalev but not being able to defeat Stevenson.

Whatever you say Carcharias. Lol at you saying i post at a gay website. Even if i did why would i go by the name JAB and have the wrong astrological sign? Why not my real name? Is itb ecause the person who put it up there knew they could get in trouble for using my real name? I think you know the answer to that. But the more pressing question is why would you be searching gay websites to begin with? Seems kinda fruity, dont you think? Lets hope your friends over at caste football dont find out about your secret searches. They're really not a tolerant bunch and you may get your klan card revoked, Goebles. :yep

Perhaps you didn't want to use your real name because, you are afraid of some people finding out you are gay and it coming up in their google searches. So you chose the same username you use here: JAB5239. I saw you posted an old photo of yourself from about 15 years ago, but you look much older now and you've gained a lot of weight. I guess you wanted the people at that site to see you the way you were at a younger age.

It was your old friend -Weltschmerz- who used to post here that pointed out to me that you post on that gay discussion site gayspeak.

I don't have anything against gays, most seem to be nice people. If I were gay I wouldn't hide it from my family and friends like you do. You explained on that gay discussion site why you like certain boxers, remember? And you bragged about your well-endowed boyfriend from Kenya.

Maybe Father Time will get B-Hops this time, TStout. I don't think so, though. If Hopkins didn't feel he had a big time stylistic advantage, I really don't think he would have taken the fight. He's usually good at gauging where he is and how he matches up with others. He knew Dawson was bad, and only took those fights when his hand was effectively forced. But with Kovalev (much like Pavlik and Tarver), this is a fight he went out of his way to make. Kovalev has never been past 8, and Hopkins usually finishes the championship rounds much stronger than his younger foes (except for the 2 championship rounds where he was outhustled by Calzaghe, and the 11th round in the Taylor rematch when he got caught good by Jermain - those 3 rounds aside, I don't remember Hopkins ever getting outworked in the champ rounds).

When Hopkins has the advantage in footwork (which he clearly does with Kovalev) and hand speed (which I am pretty sure he has the advantage here, too), he usually performs exceptionally well.

Maybe Kovalev's hands are a bit faster than I've prefigured, and if I am wrong, faster hands will help him. But Kovalev will suffer a major deficit with FEET! That, I think, will play the difference.
