I don't think Cain can beat Lesnar either but they got to keep the gravy train going. Cain only has 6 wins. That isn't really enough. 1 or 2 more bouts and he'll be in a good position. With 5 ko's and a demolition job on Kongo I think they will have no issue hyping Cain.
carwin will get crushed, yeah he has the power in his hands to stop lesnar but lesnar will never let this fight become a stand up battle.....lesnar 1st or 2nd round ground and pound
Fighters don't alway have the choice of where a fight takes place. If Cain lands I see no reason why he couldn't hurt Lesnar. The UFC is funny, the fighters look dominate until someone else comes along that's far superior. Look at lightweight, for some time it was Liddell, then Rampage, Evans & Forrest. They all looked like they were in the same ball park, then Anderson Silva comes along and makes Forrest look like a fool. If Fedor was to fight Brock this could very well be a repeat.
i sort of some what agree with you, fighters usualy cant choose where the fight is going to take place ,but i believe lesnars wrestling and strength is to much for anyone in the heavyweight division,i do think that carwin can hurt lesnar...but he has to get lesnar as he comes in for his strikes or takedowns, and i think that lesnar would beat fedor if they ever fought, but we will never know cuz they will never fight:twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:
Perhaps, my point is Lesnar is hard to gauge having a record of only 4-1. This is where boxing differs greatly. Can you imagine anyone in boxing holding any kind of title with a 4-1 record? As for Fedor, he could loose to Lesnar but he would certainly have experience on his side and that usually counts for something.
I think it comes down to MMA being so varied/mixed. Generally a boxer under 10 or 20 fights won't have enough of an understanding of his sport. However in MMA a fighter might not have as much experience but can still win because of a particular facade of his game. This might lead us to another issue. Not too long ago alot of posters on here were getting very annoyed at how unpredictable MMA was becoming because GSP lost to Serra etc etc
Fedor will have no trouble dispatching Lesnar. I'll go as far as to say he will Zulu Brock. On the other hand A.Silva would give him fits for few rounds for sure.
I'd be extremely interested to see how he deals with Cro Cop, though I dunno if Cro Cop is so over the hill he can't get to that stage now. A combination of someone that good standing who's hard to take down poses an interesting challenge for Brock, imo.
Take down defense would be great vs Lesnar. Cro Cop at his best had very good takedown defense. Nowadays, not so sure if he has enough to hold lesnar off him.
plenty can beat him, hell one more round and couture would have stopped him. he just got caught but was wearing him down if was obvious he was tired and cut.
This is no easy fight to call. Carwin is big, stong, can wrestle and show bigtime punching power. Brock is what we know about him...Big, Very Stong, and fast. Not sure he is on par with the One Punch power of Carwin, but this should be a fun fight for as long as it last.
I think Brock told an interviewer after the match that, "he caught me with a knee, and I saw Tweety Birds, but only for half a second." or something like that.
At heavyweight? Mir. Couture. Crocop. Nogueira. Any of these guys on a resurgent night could beat Brock Lesnar in convincing fashion.
I am hoping that Crocop lands one of his high kicks on Brock's skull. Doubt it will happen, but I can dream.
