do you mean black as in had African genes?

or do you mean blacked up like C Thomas Howell in Soul Man ("lookin good, momma, lookin good"). Cos that Marciano wouldn't be any different physically.

The thread is honest .. the issue is who responds and how .. Boxing has always been tribal. The greatest rivalries in the 20's and 30's were all along ethnic and racial lines ..

If Marciano was black, Mcvey would be his biggest supporter.

He knocked out Joe Louis, Jersey Joe Walcott, Ezzard Charles and Archie Moore and he retired as the undefeated World Heavyweight Champion.

It didn't matter what color he was.

Anyone who did that would be considered an all-time great.

I'm White and my favourite fighter is Jack Dempsey,so you are consistant at batting 100% and getting it wrong.
You need to pay more attention and not ascribe to me your own motives and prejudices.

Remind me when you made a thread anyone thought was worth two bob? All you content is just petty bickering and sniping at me,you seriously need to get a life.
If you don't approve of the thread say so and leave it alone as any normal person would do.
Your problem is I caught you out in a couple of things and you couldn't bring yourself to acknowledge you were wrong ,[it was so long ago I can't even remember the topics,] and now it's eating away at you Mr Saddo.
Why not channel your energies into making a thread of your own instead of weighing in with your juvenile, petty spite every time I post?
Let it go , you'll feel better afterwards, and you won't be making yourself look like a disappointed school boy every time you type here . Its a lovely Sunday morning here in Kent and I'm just off to pick up a hired van and clean out my Mum In Law's flat of all her stuff. So you really dwindle into an insignificant speck in the universe.
Have a nice day and try and work on controlling your emotions a bit more.:good:hi:

Oh Jesus. Here we go more typical pi ss and wind from a Murican who wants to give us Hollywood's version of WW2 in Europe.

Allow me to give you a clue as to what ACTUALLY occurred. Between the 27th of May, and the 4th of June 1940 the little Austrian painter and decorator had every opportunity to persue the battered and demoralised allied troops across the Channel from DUNKIRK and invade Britain. He CHOSE not to.

There are numerous theories as to why, but all that matters is it would have been easy for him, but he didn't.

The mixture of God Bless America, and Rule Britannia emotions running through your head is admirable, but it would be more so if it wasn't of the Hollywood variety.
