Make the case for him as one of the better punchers of his era.

    Go!

And I guess Sam Peters was a powder-puff puncher, too?

Rahman could punch like a mule kicks. Don't kid yourself. His chin, pacing and the mental side of the game were missing. Also, very possibly the strongest champ of all time.

    Two questions for you.

Would you like to point out where I said he was a dynamite puncher?

James Toney has had 90 fights ,would you like to name the men that have stopped him?

Here is Rahman koing Lewis, tell me this isnt a terrific right hand?

Its equal to Marciano's right hand ko of Walcott in their 1st fight. And it's koing a 6'5" 253lbs man.

    Are you simple?

What does a leaky chin have to do with punching power?

"Why don't you actually watch the fights before commenting on them"

"Walcott was in the act of rising and it's debatable whether he beat the count or not."

There is a 3-D film of this fight in which they show the count out from different angles in regular time and at least twice in slow motion, and there really is no doubt Walcott is still sitting on the floor at ten.

"LaStarza was on his feet when stopped"

I never said he wasn't. I just quoted your word that he was "helpless"

"Don C was hog fat at 205 lbs."

That doesn't make him a non-heavyweight. There have been plenty of fat heavyweights. The fact is that his lowest weight since the Turpin fight was 197 lbs. He weighed 205 when he won the British Empire heavyweight championship and 210 defending it. No one is arguing that he was a formidable challenger, but there have been far worse over the decades.

"Moore was the reigning light-heavyweight champion"

As had been Billy Conn before he gave up his title to challenge Louis. Conn gave a peak Louis what Louis later said was his toughest defense. Conn's weight was given at 174, a full 25 lbs. less than Louis. Moore's was given as 188, about 1/2 lb. or so less than Marciano.

"and would still be defending that title 3 years later."

Actually up to six years later.

"You're so full of it you should have a flush installed in your forehead."

Sorry, but school yard insults don't cut it with me.

I always find that they reveal more about the hurler than about the target.
