and if u want to count which fighter had the p4p title the longest in the decade it is mayweather...who was at #1 3 times in a span of ten years.... pac was p4p for 2years only after mayweather retired shane mosley was 2 yrs and bhop 2 years RJJ 1 year so now explain why PAC is FOTD outside of hype.....BOB ARUM PROLLY BOUGHT THAT ****
July 2005 - December 2007 = 2 and a half years ****head, so is that "most" of the decade 2000-2009? Well, is it? Didn't think so. Class dismissed :smoke
I voted yes.How can fighter of the decade lose his very next fight to the guy that many people thought deserved that award in the first place? Pacq will lose his undefended light welterweight title as well, which should of been stripped already as he has not defended it for three fights straight with no intentions of defending it for yet a 4th straight fight.Anyone else would've been stripped two fights ago. He will unanimously lose the p4p title which is not his anyway,so yes, fighter of the decade will switch hands even if not officially.Especially if the fight is as one sided as the Gatti fight or the Marquez fight.
Don't know why everyone is so aggressive on this forum? When do you think the first ever decade started and ended? Try answering without throwing personal insults etc
did u look at the link....stupid!!! ok and pac got the title after defeating oscar in dec of 2008 so thats 1yr by ur logic slap dick because up until then mayweather was still #1 so that would equal out to 3 yrs or from my logic 4yrs of p4p dominance ur a ****ing repeat idiot!! and yes mayweather had the title for longer than any fighter in the decade u ****ing intellectually challenged dickhead p.s. mayweather announced his retirement in jun of 2008....so until then he was p4p#1!!
lol dude, I don't know how or why it's so hard for you to understand. When referring to decades, it tends to be like the following: - The 70's decade was from 1970-1979 - The 80's decade was from 1980-1989 - The 90's decade was from 1990-1999 Which brings us to the decade we're arguing about, the first of the new millenium. Now this millenium...when did it begin? January the 1st of 2000, right? If you still don't believe, wiki it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000s_(decade) So can we now agree that the decade in which Manny has been given this award, begun January 1st 2000, and ended 31st December 2009 (totalling 10 years). :good
Tell Floyd to stop injecting his hands. If they're not strong enough naturally, then he should be in boxing....right?
LMAO and I guess if Manny beats Floyd, Floyd will not get any credit for beating all the opponents that he faced before? Right?
