Floyd is not mentally prepared, because he's going to jail?

No, listen, listen. You(your buddies) were fine with Cotto fighting Pac in a rematch at a worse weight for Cotto at this present time in his career, but now he is fighting Floyd you say he is shot. you're a ****ing hypocrite, look through my posts, not once have I (ME) said that Cotto is prime, i have said that it is good for him now that he is under proper guidance but have never said he is prime.
Who is saying that Cotto is prime? He is the best Floyd could get for may 5th under the circumstances, you were all saying Canelo this Canelo that, it was signed before the ortiz fight etc etc.

    Good post.

There are several reasons Mayweather is heavily favored in this fight. Pointing out those reasons is not being a hater, merely an observant fan. Too bad the fanboys take that so personally.

This thread is ridiculous. There are very few people who think Cotto can pull off a victory. The TS just wants to give some validation to this mediocre win for Floyd. There will be no excuses because none are needed. This fight is and has been as clear as day. There is nothing special about this fight.

The excuse will be the damage Cotto sustained from the 2 savage beatings and the other beating he took from Clottey. If Floyd hurts him with one shot and he never recovers, it won't be because Floyd has some power in his shots. It's funny how it's never that Floyd fought well. It's always something with the other guy. Shane Mosley was old. It had nothing to do with the fact that Floyd spanked him out. He lost because he was old and overtrained. It's always an excuse but the people understand what they see and the media can't convince us that it was something different.

He just fought the youngest and the strongest welterweight champion. Tim Bradley was right. If a guy headbutts you, you knock his ass out.

I never said cotto was shot. meanwhile, most of your ***** buddies were claiming he is either shot or damaged goods but changed their opinions upon learning that floyd is fighting him next.

and no, he could have fought pac next but decided that he wants all the PPV share and rejected the fair 50/50 split.

you basically said that anything floyd does in this fight doesn't mean **** because cotto is damaged and has been in too many wars.

I find it funny that Mayweather was supposed to be afraid of Cotto based on his performances against Mosley (where he looked bad going down the stretch) and Gomez (I mean really.....it's ****ing Gomez!) but now that he is fighting Cotto, Cotto is all of a sudden a shot shell of his former self.

But if this shot Cotto were to go to 147 to fight Pac again, this would have been fine.

    It's hard to understand really.:bart

    Yep.

But if Cotto fought Pac at 147 in a rematch, he would have been a hulking beast, riding high after 3 career defining victories at a higher weight class, including one against Margo, the most fearsome fighter of all time. :yep

I have said that he has seen mileage and in too many wars. but cotto is still floyds toughest opponent since maybe castillo.
