If nothing else, Wilder Has HEART

Feather-fisted Fury has taken this guy out twice now. Wilder's chin is china and always has been. As soon as he fought a decent fighter in their prime, his first, he was stopped. Stop denying the obvious. Wilder's packing glass in that mandible.

 

He has heart and a brutal right hand so he will always be dangerous too bad he is a sore loser.

 

Maybe not, but it can make the difference between an all time great and a merely good fighter, IMO.

Imagine Floyd Patterson without heart. Imagine if he was a guy who wouldn't keep charging in, and wouldn't get up from knockdowns. No way he performs at a world level for any length of time.

 

The fight was a roller coaster Wilder was so desperate to kill Fury loading up so much on every punch real bad advice from his corner missing and telegraphing most punches basically ran out of gas too early I think he got a decent chin taking blows from 10 rounds from one of the heaviest boxer in history long life to the Gypsy King.

 

Heard tyson fury saying the only way to beat him is to knock him out...nail him to the floor. In fairness to wilder hes the exact same to beat him you,ve got to fold him cause if he could he,d have dragged himself back off that floor again.

Guy wasnt good enough to beat fury...but in the end fair play to him he tried till he had nothing left to give. Both guys put it all on the line.

 

He had to have heart after forcing the 3rd fight and the never ending drivel of the ways Fury cheated in the 2nd. He damn well better show heart, the whiner. Ironically, his 'heart' will no doubt expedite the end of his career as he took a terrible beating from Fury, again.

 

Bull****. It took him over a hundred clean punches from a man who had 40lbs on him to get KOd. And “featherfisted” Fury happens to be only fighter to KO Cunningham, who jabbed Chisora internet submission and hand Christian Hammer his only stoppage loss in like a decade.

Dillian Whyte who got KTFOd by a single blow from a washed up, smaller opponent has a glass jaw, Wilder’s chin is decent.

 

Frazier-like

 

Wilder has a good chin. He just had 3 fights against a bigger man with agility and ability. Nobody survives 3 fights with Tyson Fury without tasting canvas at least once. Everyone knows what Wilder lacks but he does bring excitement. A right hand, with insane heart and a good chin are going to make for fun fights. Hope he can recover to see him tangle with some others.

 

One fight vs a hittable Fury and he showed heart. Okay what the others?

 

Indeed, though it was quite more of Pride vs PRIDE.

 

Deserves credit for his ring grit but he's a hard man to have much like for.

 

He's probably still hurting today though. He'll need some serious rest now.

Heal up and then keep working on that jab.

 

I don't think you can question his heart. He proved that in the 2nd bout, there was nothing fake about his reaction to his corners stoppage. He absolutely wanted to go on till the fat lady sang.

And he showed great heart and determination again on Saturday night and this time he did indeed fight on till there was nothing left. Wilder gave his all and this time the fat lady was on full chorus.

 

Wilder does not have a glass jaw or he would have been Koed many times years ago.
his power bailed him out a few times, but if you have so many fights & not great overall skills & defense you gotta have at leasta decenct chin.

Fury is no feather fist. You could see him landing hard punches, & given his size & weight & commitment to stepping in since their second fight, I do not know how you cannot see that he has good power.
