Nallege had his stomach stapled closed, and was constantly fed by rapper Raekwon who kept feeding him...and feeding him...and feeding him lol...

Anyone who willingly gets into the ring with someone like Castillo or Corrales probably isn't "fearful" of a small guy like Pacman.

    An undefeated record.

I'd say right now, Floyd is ahead. If Pac beat Oscar, Pac would probably surpass him in terms of resume, but Floyd is like Roy Jones, not the best resume going around, but spectacular head-to-head.

Of course not of PAC, I didnt say that. Try Margo...I think hes a little more intimidating than Diego RIP or JLC

Calzaghe has an undefeated record and have beaten two of the truly greatest fighters of all time past prime or not..Hes not considered an ATG by many.. I do. ..

Floyd is not RJJ at all in terms of spectacular h2h. He looked great against Chavez and Diego perhaps his best fight. But hes far from RJJ as far as electrifying.

then again different standards.. Floyd is held up as a God here.. PAc demolished a p4p#3 fighter in MAB (a shut out beating) and it was like its alright..no biggie...MAB had fires in his training.

I dare say that the fight was far more impressive than any of Floyds win.

Skills..Floyd by a mile. H2h I favor Floyd just like I favor DLH

    1. IMO both men's resumes are exceptional, with Pac having a slight edge cause he started at a much more lower weight than Mayweather, but has enjoyed similar multi-weight success (the guy started at 106 and now he's fighting at 147) and has won multi-weight titles. Having lost (especially if that's early in your career) doesn't automatically mean you're worst than an undefeated fighter, that's like saying Ottke was better than Eubank or Benn just cause they had lost and he hadn't.

    2. I don't belittle the fact that Floyd has more talent/skills. But as you also said, one factor alone doesn't make the difference when we talk greatness. I can't say Mayweather is greater just because he has more skills. It's fair to say that both men are equally great. Sry if we don't see this eye-to-eye, it happens.

    3. First of all who is "us" and "we"? I'm discussing with you, not with "them". :good My take on the "0" is this: Of course it is very important to keep your record "clean", the "zero" is very meaningful. My only point is that sometimes fighters WITH LOSSES are greater/better than fighters with NO losses, or FEWER losses.

    4. Mayweather's talent is NOT a minor detail. And for the record, I honestly like Mayweather a lot more than I did when he was active. I have actually defended him on ESB!

This thread is about greatness based on resume, skills, titles, longevity... and you mentioned a h2h comparison between Mayweather and Pacquiao, when they haven't even fought! :blood

I would definitely favour Mayweather if he fought Pacquiao, but a fantasy h2h matchup isn't very relevant here, is it?

PS: Nice avatar. :D I know, I had picked Paulie too...

I think you summed it up right there. That is pretty much the answer to "the" thread.
