After the beating from Margarito, Cotto was called shot to the fact that he didnt' seem like he was mentally ready to take punishment anymore. He wasn't mentally ready to face someone like Pac when he did. Then after the beatings from Margo AND Pac. It was hard to believe that he would ever be able to recover mentally. But he did, Pedro has him physically and mentally ready to fight. Emmanual S. made him better defensively.
147 is a better weight for Pac then 154 is for Mayweather. Bradley may be comfortable at 147, Cotto was comfortable at 154. But again 147 is a better weight for Pac then 154 is for Mayweather. So at the end of the day the only fighter out of all 4 who fought out of there comfort level would be Mayweather.
It slays me that some still think JMM won his last fight with MP. Get over it. He LOST. When all three judges score the same way for fighters, that means MP won. I like and respect both fighters but MP won and thats it. Enough already.

You say this yet Mayweather would be favored over anyone from 140-154 including Pac. Mayweather is actually willing to go up to 154 while Pac is unwilling to go to 140. Mayweather has now defeated the #1 rated WW(Mosley and #1 rated JMW Cotto. This to go along with his long reign as the P4P before his retirement all add up to him being the #1 P4P today.
Beating 4 of the common opponents is better than beating 3 common opponents better, and getting outboxed by one of them
