    You don't fire your employer. No matter how many times you say the boxer is the promoter's boss, no...it's the other way around. Who signs who? The promoter signs the fighter. Who gets released from a contract? The fighter does, not the promoter. When the contract expires, who is the "free agent"? The fighter is.

    It is not that simple. Do you know what is on the contract he signed with Arum? Many people tried to revolt against Arum; only few succeeded. The oldman might be slimeball; but he is also very smart. His longevility and success as boxing promoter shows it.
