    Ummm, Sidney Crosby is Canadian...

Plus, what about Wayne Gretzky? What about Steve Nash?

There are many non-Americans that have become like demigods over here. Why does every post on here have to become about nationality?

Its the same in every country really....they support their own first.

Pac already made one for Nike, it will be distributed all over asia & optional in the US. Pac winning Superfights after Superfights with JMM, J Diaz, Hatton & PBF will bring him to the Mainstream. Yao ming Barely speak English but he endorsing stuff left & Right.

Yao is on very few if any commericials here in the US anymore. I remember him in one commercial a while back. And the NBA is mainstream here in the US, boxing is not. Pacquiao will never be mainstream here.....just as DLH was never as famous as his NFL, NBA, MLB, counterparts. Boxing doesn't get enough coverage here. The Nike ad is OPTIONAL in the US for a reason...

OK let's downgrade a little. You'll see Pac in Print ads in Rings & Sports Illustrated. Some ads on US tv with Nike & Gatorade.

I think you may see him in Sports Illustrated and Ring...certainly doable. I don't think you will see him on US TV. DLH did very little endorsements on TV, Jones doing none of any significance. I won't say it's impossible, but it is highly unlikely.

    The Pac hysteria is pathetic

He'll be lucky to get past JMM, and if he does Juan Diaz will send him right back to where he came from

This bull**** I'm hearing about him conquering all up to 140 is ludicrous, as is the idea he could KO Mayweather

A very relevant point. It has been mentioned before, but perhaps since you are a Pacquiao fan, a proven one, he may take it more to heart. He believes that Pacquiao has gotten stronger and faster at each weight, whereas I have noticed a decline since 122.

Within reason I agree. When every post is about Pacquiao or a way to steer a thread toward Pacquiao, it gets a little......well, there are numerous words.

did u say something? All I saw was that avatar:D

On the real, I'm a Floyd fan and I'd give PAC his just due. I don't believe that PAC will be a superstar legend as the early mentioned fighters, but he'd be in my top 10 list. These thought are just a "Rocky Balboa" storyline. In reality its impossible for PAC to defeat PBF at anytime or weight class.

Wow. A bunch of you guys really took my "hypothetical" post and turned it into a forecasted reality. I thought I was pretty explicit as to how I thought this fight would never take place and how Pac would be at a tremendous disadvantage. I guess some people don't/can't READ! Anyway, I really feel that Pacquiao's all-action, come forward KO friendly style is something that could impact boxing on a much larger scale if Pac's skills were showcased on a bigger stage. That's really all I was getting at.

It's not that. Your post was a simple question. But some posters have forecasted him beating PBF already, going as far as to predict it. So your post just kinda invoked the same reaction, especially since the poster who thinks this commented in the thread.
