Exactly! He could very well be the top P4P fighter based on his resume. He may not be as talented as Floyd, but the level of his competition,if he defeats JMM ( which won't be easy) would be a remarkable acheivement. :bbb

i think you went a bit off topic there dude. many people here pay respect to pac. sure , there are some haters but that's how boxing goes, no matter how good you are, there will always be people who will think lowly of you. even rjj in his prime had detractors and pac is no different. you can't force everyone to like him.

anyway, do you think that pac deserves the number 1 spot if he beats jmm next week? if yes, then why should he get the spot over floyd?

Are you ******ed? Baldomir was recognized 147lb champion when he beat Judah who was ranked 1 being undisputed you fool.

    Floyd is # 1 p4p, but he's in a superhuman league.
Marquez is #1 P4P among normal fighters.

Now, I understand why some of you guys don't like manny as p4p#1 in case he beats marquez. It's because he is an ORIENTAL FIGHTER... And no matter how good he is... And that's what we call RACISM...How can you call Floyd the greatest? If he don't like to fight w/ the thought fighters like cotto. He is only after w/ the small guys that he know that he can beat, No matter how manny times they fight... That's what we call a coward.

It's the way calzage beat two young undefeated champions that puts him up there. he was simply magnificent in both those fights.

Pac is great to watch, can bang, but can't box that well and has defeats.

Also the mexicans he has beat, although reat fighters were nearing the end after MANY wars

Unless Mayweather loses, his skills and respectable opposition keeps him in #1.

please. don't even try to drag race into this. it is a lame excuse. pbf is the best figter p4p in the world right now. the last thing i'd want to do is hate on pac but if you hate on floyd for fighting small guys that he knew he can beat.

let me tell you this, hatton was more of a challenge for pbf that all of pac's last four fights combined. pbf not wanting to fight cotto is like pac not wanting to fight guzman. then yall will say pac doe not want to fight guzman because he does not have a name yet, but when pbf shows he'd rather fight dela hoya again who is obviously a bigger name than cotto, you'd hate on him for not taking the toughest fight out there.

pac will be number one if he deserves it. it does not matter if he's asian or not. i obf slips and pac continues to win, he'll get there.
