He would get no respect. He would have to knock out both of the klitchko brothers in one night to even start getting repected.
It'd be too hard to place him an exact ranking in my own GOAT list, but if he clearly beats them 2, (especially pac-man), i'd have him high in a top 20. Although I think if he beats them 2, he will be more highly thought of in 20 years than right now, current fighters arent as always celebrated as the past i.m.o
The Mosley who fought Margarito likely will not show up because styles make fights. That Mosley showed up because Margarito is a B Class fighter with no defense who didn't have his 'tools'(aka loaded gloves) in that fight. Floyd will outbox Shane, and people will say Shane got old overnight or the 'real' Shane didn't show up and discredit his win. That's how things happen nowadays. Once Floyd beats Shane, its likely him and Pacquiao will not fight over the blood testing issue. Floyd won't need Pac and Pac won't think he needs Floyd. Someone will have to back down on their demands, and it won't be Floyd because he will have the leverage after the Mosley fight. If somehow they reconcile their demands and meet in the ring, I think many will be surprised how easily Mayweather beats Pacquiao.
you guys are retarted if you ever think a mayweather pavilik fight is ever going to happen. Floyd once said he's not fighting over 154 ever. he'd never let his body go like that by gaining that much weight. 2nd I think he's only got about 4 more fights left in him anyway (including the mosley fight) b4 he retires for good with him being locked in a 5 fight deal unless something extremely lucrative comes long after he fullfills that contract. As for ppl still throwing williams name in the mix, just stop. This lanky ******* is not a welterweight, shouldn't be fighting at welterweight, and quite frankly the only reason ppl want to see him fight Floyd, is cause they want to see how he deals with his height, reach and punch volume. I see Floyd's next 4 fights as Mosely twice, Pacquiao (maybe) and who knows after that lol. And no I don't think ppl will ever respect Floyd until he's really gone. But he came, he saw, he conquered... And he got out with his brain and body intact.
:scaredas:You kidding right?? Ali fought in the most competitive heavyweight era in history...Frazier, Foreman, Liston, Norton, Patterson...hell even Chuvalo, Lyle and Quarry are equal to Cotto, Hatton, and Clottey
