While fighting 16-17 years old. Then he got older and still fighting 16-17 years old. That is amateur boxing. Cubans treat it like it is their professional career and continue fighting untiltheir thirties while other countries move on after 20 years old.
I think Caballero would have been very difficult style for Rigo. Can't predict that one. Garcia is difficult to gauge at this point. Remember Roberto... Don't think Garcia is ready. Salido would be difficult if the pressure he bring is effective. Otherwise very good style match up for Rigo. John might have slown down. Think Rigo has more at this point. Interesting match regardless. Gonzales goes down I think. Cordoba. Rigo could actually lose a rematch. He would have to pot shot a lot. This match will never be made. I'd like to see Rigondeaux against another top man at 122 first though.
Jhonny - KO-1 Celestino - KO-5 Mikey - KO-3 John - KO-8 ( prob UD ) Salido - KO -5 ( Bodyshot ) EASY for Rigondeaux .:good
¿ Do you know what's the average age of the Cuban Boxing team at this Olympics Games ? It's 22 years old you moron so stfu and stop trolling .
He needs to worry about Mares and Nonito first. I'd love to see him fight a fighter with a pulse at least like Darchinyan, Perez, or Agbeko. Agbeko would truly test that ass.
The Only Person Rigo beats at 126 is Juan Manuel Lopez..but he makes it interesting with anyone at 126. His skills will carry him a few rounds then the size and skills of the others will negate him. J Gonzalez, Mikey Garcia, Ponce De Leon, and Specially Salido Expose the Cuban Glass Jaw of Rigo and TKO him back to the Amateurs where he is P4P#1 Cause in Baxing he hasn't done **** but get KD by a jab and Run to an SD at the highest level he has been at.
At least he picks opponents at his weight or bigger guys,he doesn't defend his belts against flyweights...like someone I know who fights ppl 20 lbs lighter:yep
