I've seen clips where Loma clearly states he will not be happy until he avenges this defeat so I can't see where you get the impression he doesn't fancy the rematch, which he will win by KO....
I saw him say he would rather Vargas over Salido because he has the belt, so read of that what you may. I'm not saying his scared of Salido, he's not done anything to suggest his scared of any fighter but I think Salido should be his priority and if what your saying is correct then it seems he is.
There was a link uploaded here a week or so ago where he said that loss still haunts him and it will until he avenges it. The one thing that might make him nervous about taking a rematch is the extra pressure involved in fighting a man who beat him already. It's a fight he simply cannot lose...
Well it's good he is pursuing that fight in that case, your right he cannot afford to lose this he needs to make this right.
Salido IMO is the only one right now to have the style to beat Loma, The other one might be Vargas tho, You need a non stop come forward throwing punches from all angels style in order to beat Loma, the only problem is Salido might be already on the way out due to his age and all the wars he has been in.
I watched the first fight again last night. Lomo made the mistake of fighting Salidos fight, at least in the first two thirds of the fight. I give props to salido as he is as tough and determined as they come. Anything can happen of course but I don't so the Lomo man making that mistake again. Look for him to box and use his movement to avoid Salidos headbutt, elbow and takedown attacks. Once again, I respect Salido but while he will have his moments I do not think he will be able to deal with Lomachenko's movement and overall skill advantage. Whatever happens, this should be an interesting fight to watch.
