Yep and one HW has been trying to do that. Winning titles, winning unification fights and making successful defences and is only 22 fights in.

The other champion is 40 fights in and has attempted zero unification fights.

Quite clear who wants to rule the divisions and who doesn't.

Whoever wins is number 2 in the division. He would either have to beat the current number one or beat better opposition in subsequent fights to take the ranking from him.

I’m not into this comparing resumes nonsense but it’s a clear cut one with fury and the chinny robot.

AJs signature win was a home advantage against a retired, grey haired, saggy backed, and without a win in two three years, without a KO in even longer and never fought again shot old ghost of VLAD, going life and death for a
    collection of vacant baubles.

Fury’s signature win was against the LINEAR heavyweight champion unbeaten for eleven odd years version of VLAD in his own back yard putting on a schooling for all the baubles (minus the BC).

No contest between the two in a boxing sense, however many fanboys have been conditoned to take into account the relative production values (blue search lights), how quick the tickets sold out in each bout and how many times the winner got up off the canvas when rating the respective wins.

Stepping down from that Fury has the prime version of the old shot chisora who just despatched Takam in far more impressive fashion than AJ (who needed a skatchroom stoppage) and AJ has shot forty year old three round povetkin.

Then you have the likes of joe Parker, probably Joshua’s most credible win with no asterisk against it although the guy went life and death with whyteleafe and Hughie Fury which speaks to his level better than the bauble and the 0 Joshua took from him.

If I had to rank their respective resumes subjectively from a purely boxing sense and without including fanboy criteria it’d look something like this

FURY 11yr unbeaten VLAD for the LINEAR
    FURY prime delboy
    JOSHUA shot three round povetkin
    JOSHUA unbeaten Joe Parker
    FURY fat delboy
JOSHUA shot old grey retired saggy backed VLAD who never fought again
    FURY Cunningham
JOSHUA fat green one armed whyteleafe

No boxrec there so I may have missed someone.

    Agree?

Mr Anthony Dosh PPV and MBE stated that it was all about the titles and not the money - then he does not accept the fight err due to the split of money!!!!

I believe Wilder, in a hypothetical best of ten, against any HW in history, wins some and loses some. If he lands his Sunday punch then he wins, and no HW has been or ever will be immune to random chance.

It's a common theme in boxing these days. Take Floyd Mayweather as an example. He hasn't fought any great fighters in their prime and yet people still consider him an all-time great.

Vitali Klitschko's best win was against Corey Sanders. Pathetic really

The only way to be number one in the division is to beat the person who's currently number 1. Until either of them beat AJ they wont be number 1.

@S.K look at all these idiots! They're so biased towards Fury they can't see straight!

Oh well, I'll just kick back in my big house, with my hot wife, planning my next four holidays and forget these council house peasants, whose opinions hold no credence because they struggle to pay their bills. I'm too happy to be dealing with these fools anyway!
