To me this "fight" is kind of a joke. Terrible rules. I almost bought a ticket before I found out about the set up.

I think this will be an actual fight

    Reason being

Tyson is trying to set up a business called league of legends where legends of all sports face each other. This is essentially the trial run so if this goes well then there is a huge money business waiting for Tyson. It's in his interest to give an exciting fight and go for the KO

I also think Roy Jones would enjoy the fact he had a Tyson KO on his record. Jones isn't a loser, he's a winner he always comes to win. I can't imagine him just not trying

If it sells it's only because of Tyson. No other shot fighter commands that kind of attention. So I don't see it setting a trend. This would prove what I always thought (no impressive feat, pretty obvious), Tyson is far the biggest draw in history (deservedly so).

Im guessing the no ko rule was to get past the commission. They looked pretty intense at the weigh in.

If this does well and he looks OK, Mike Tyson is going to do a one-off 'real' comeback fight.

My guess is Deontay Wilder would offer the most -- puncher vs. puncher, lot of smack talk, etc.

I can't see Mike trying to do a longer-term comeback where he takes on mid-level guys and builds himself back up. Just a one-and-done ... but if he wins then he fights Fury/AJ for a couple gazillion dollars.

Was embarrassing to see Mike at the weigh in, he was showing love handles

No one else could do this apart from Mike Tyson.

Deontay the fool does not deserve a pay day against Tyson.

Besides, anyone in the Top 50 would kill Tyson.

I think the casuals are going to come out in force for Mike Tyson. Everybody elite right now not named Canelo or Pacquiao are going to be pissed off, methinks and Tyson might even embarrass those 2. That said, if Tyson doesn't KO Roy, that will probably be it for the big money in the senior tour.

Prime Roy Jones Jr was the best fighter my eyes have ever seen.

Tyson has been shot to pieces for 15 years.

In good conscious I cannot watch this. Not even for free. And I won’t. This is for kids and for super casuals. It ain’t for me. I’ll be watching the UFC even if the card is subpar and Villanova. I will def catch Dubois-Joyce tho.

    Neither of which matters.

If he looks decent and a few nice clips make it on ESPN and social media, it will sell. The public doesn’t know the difference.

Don’t forget that FMJ vs. a guy who had never had a professional boxing match did 4M PPV buys and generated hundreds of millions. Tyson vs. a big puncher could do that.
