It wouldn't be the best thing but given Vitalis age it won't harm him too much. He should have two more fights. His mando and haye. That will see him perhaps reach greatness in the division due to age and longevity.

that being said I doubt he beats either arreola nor haye at this stage.

how do you duck a guy who is ranked 5th ? and how does a guy get ranked 5th anyway after a recent loss and never beating a guy in the top 10 is the better question

Haye is the fight the fans in general want Vitali to face next. Hence why I would regard him as a top contender. While he has been inactive he did beat Chisora who in his fight with Vitali was actually competitive something we haven't see anyone do since Sanders.

No Lewis didn't duck Vitali. He was in a similar situation to Vitali now. He was past his best and had to either retire or face Vitali. Had Lewis continued fighting and not faced Vitali, then that would have been a blatant duck.

Personally I would like to see Vitali fight Haye. Even though he is past his best he is still too good for Haye. I see Haye having the odd moment early on but he eventually grinds down Haye and stop him.

Vitali doesn't have much of a legacy anyway, he does however already have a tainted career so ducking Haye won't bother him.

If Vitali beat Haye that would represent his 3rd of 4th best win.

How exactly is that legacy enhancing?

David Haye is irrelevant and hopefully he'll stay retired. He unified a **** division and beat a couple of 'c' class fighters at heavyweight. He had the talent to do more, just not the attitude or application.

Haye is to slick fast and dangerous for Vitali at this point. Vitali knows it, Boente knows it..Therefor it wont happen.
Wlad could hardly catch Haye clean, and he is almost as fast plus has better reach. How on earth do you think VItali with his stiff slow old legs, armpunches without much power would do against Haye...
It would be a terrible night for Vitali, and they all know it...

He couldn't even stun Chisora. Injury? Well that was his left arm. I'm sure his right is stronger and landed flush plenty.

Haye battered Chisora. Vitali has also been talking smack about Haye. Doesn't matter who started it. Just bloody fight, don't use excuses and say he'd easily beat him. If its so easy, why not make the fight to earn the 'easiest' money and the most money you could from one single fight.

This is why Klitschko's don't get respect.
