Difference is, Vitali wont back up after landing one powershot, he will follow up immediately. Even Wladimir could have kod Peter if he would have followed up in the 12th round. Vitali wont go backwards, at least not the hole fight. If he does, he will do it early for tactical reasons, but im 100% sure he will go to war soon enough.

  3. To me the VK fight is 50-50 pick em HEADS OR TAILS U CALL IT:deal Styles make fight's Wlad in my opinion is a better all around fighter than his older Bro and has beaten better fighters throughout his career, he's faster, hits harder, more athletic, has a better jab and a better all around boxer, the only reason Wlad won that fight with Peter is because that ****ing ref, didn't DQ, or at least take a LOT of points from Wlad for hugging or holding so much:deal ...
I hope his Brother dosen't play huggy bear in the ring on Sat night:-( and comes to fight straight up...

Wlad for that fight was mentally fragile and we all know he has a questionable Chin but the great Peter could not KO him or beat him. Skills are what win fights and Peter has no skill or Plan B. If he had a plan B he could have beat Wlad but he didn't. So what do they do? They brought in Stacey McKinley who is on a Buddy McGirt type streak right now with fighters. You figure that one out. :good

    Don't you remember the lesson...???

Seriously Rico, it's pretty f*cked...I took the time to give you the entire chronology in the past of the events leading up to McKinley being hired.

It was a few fights removed from the WLAD encounter.

Please stop spouting off BS...I might remind you I listed sources last time...and it's well documented.

No need to be an ass.

So it's alright to aim for your opponents back of the skull but not alright to hold. OK thanks.

he ain't gonna need to ko him (to win), but he may and it would be because vitaly is more agressive and will throw/land more than wlad.

That isn't the case. As far as we know Wlad couldn't beat Sanders. He wasn't anywhere near coming close to winning that fight in any respect.

Wlad is and always has been a better overall fighter than his older brother. Power is probably about the same but the styles they fight are alot different. Especially todays Wlad.

To answer the original question: Because Vitaly will actually try to KO peter while Wlad was concerned with little more than defense and points. Sort of understandable at the time given that it was his first big power puncher test after his back to back KO losses. An offensive Wlad would have KOed peter. He almost did that anyway near the end of the fight.

i disagree. As far as we know, Wlad didn't beat Sanders. We don't know if he could or couldn't, we just know that he didn't. If you take into consideration their careers then it would seem that he definately could.

Vitali stopped Ross Purity easily and He stopped Sanders, he also smoked up highly rated Kirk Johnson, I think Vitali does not hit as hard with one punch as Vlad but mixes up his punches well. The question is can he fight close to the form of when he left 4 yrs ago and he is now 38 without a tune up but a prime version beats Sam Peter

Exactly. Vitali's punches doesn't have Wlad's speed but their delivered with near unstoppable force. Vitali is very strong. Using only arm leverage he was able to throw big Timo Hofman around the ring. Not to mention Larry Donald.
