If CEJ didn't want it then I would have walked away from the 02 date and looked to arrange another fight entirely. Why?

I'm not high on the fight, but it would have been stupid to have walked considering he was all geared to fight, HBO were happy, and it'll be his first fight in the U.K.

There was just no sense in him declining it.

It was a late replacement fight, it's either that or K2 had to start from zero and walk away from millions in revenue. Look how fast the tickets sold out. Everything was set: venue, date, location, logistics.

Look at things objectively? THis is coming from one of GGG's biggest nuthuggers. At the end of the day this is a business move, but it doesn't make it not cowardly and hypocritical. Don't cry about Canelo being a busniessman, don't cry about Canelo bringing up Khan to 155 if you're going to one up him and fight a WW at the full 160.

I didn't like the Khan fight and I don't like this one. But don't try and compare them, when the circumstances are very different.

I already addressed this. Either don't come off as a complete hypocrite crying and whining about how Canelo is pulling up a smaller guy to 155, and also saying Brook is "too small" in several interviews, or fight him at a CW of 154-155. If you don't do this, expect criticim for being a coward and a hypocrite.

Facts are nothing without circumstances. Otherwise Kevin McBride was a better fighter than Mike Tyson.

Canelo requested a voluntary to fight a WW who'd been knocked out on a few occasions.

GG accepted the Brook fight as a last minute replacement on only 9 weeks notice.

Yes, both Khan and Brook are WW's. But it's completely ignorant to ignore the circumstances.

Canelo wanted to fight a WW, whereas GG wanted to fight a MW.

Stop hating and sort yourself out.

He didn't one up anything, he's staying right there at 160. Brook accepted Hearn's offer which was drawn up originally for CEJ.

I get it, you're mad about this fight but if GGG refused they would still be searching for an opponent and he wouldn't fight until Oct/Nov.

It would have been someone like Heiland anyways since Jacobs, Saunders and Canelo flat out DUCKED him.

Be realistic.
