If Wilder KO's Joshua the only question I'll have is why did he waste so much time stepping up?

Post Ortiz his team's total lack of faith in his abilities looks pretty ridiculous.

You got that backwards Farmer. Wladimir chose the AJ fight over a fight with Wilder.

    Incorrect about unifying
Charles Martin sold his belt to AJ for 7 million, money that Wilder could never pay him
Wilder wanted Parker, could never pay him the 11 million he got vs AJ

My problem with Wilder has been his lack of big fights even though hes had over 40. He ran away from Povetkin and only seemed to take Ortiz once he had shown proof that he had slowed right down with age. If the AJ fight happens i will have more respect for Wilder regardless of result. I think the fight is in the balance i can see what AJ can do to win and i can see what Wilder can do to win. As a big Anthony Joshua fan, as a fan of knockouts, as a fan of undisputed champions and as a fan of the heavyweight division Im just happy its guna happen.

But its not done yet. They told AJ he had 24 hours to sign but gave him nothing to sign. They are talking about all this money yet people are struggling to figure out who is brave enough to put well over a hundred million on the table for a fight that could well struggle to make half that much. I also find it odd that if Winkle and Haymon were tabled to have a meeting with Eddie Hearn on Friday that they put out an offer that has to be signed and sealed just before they have this meeting. On this occasion im holding out hope it gets made but im suspicious of what is being offered by team Wilder.

Damn your cuttin to the bone there. But if we want to look at AJ in that way what is Wilder? A **** poor Boxer with a huge lucky punch who to date has run from any real challenge put in front of him. Apart from old man Ortiz and he only took that cuz Ortiz looked shot in his last 2 or 3 fights. Same reason Canelo waitied for GGG to look poor, same reason Floyd waited for Pacquiao to look poor. Its the American way.

No hate for Wilder from me, just frustration at the quality of his 40 fight resume. If he sparks AJ then fair play to him. However, I don’t believe for one moment that the $50m offer is legit and as for giving them 24 hours to accept it... wtf?

    People confuse hating with questioning......

Why has he only fought 2 top 10 guys in 41 fights? Hater
Why hasn't he tried to unify? Hater
Why was he 'not ready' for Klitschko? Hater

They're all legitimate questions. People are claiming that if Joshua avoids Wilder its a 'big deal', yet fail to see that it is no different to Wilder avoiding Wlad.

If he beats Joshua, he becomes number 1.....But he would then need Fury to cement a HoF legacy.

    Klitschko/Wilder/Fury v Klitschko/Wilder/Joshua v Joshua/Fury/Ortiz

The above are the 3 best potential wins for the 'big three'. Wilder's lack of Klitschko really weakens his resume.

No, not with Wilder fans like the one a few posts above you who repeatedly trash AJ. Wilder fans are doing nore to discredit an AJ win than anyone else on here.

I don't think AJ would get the 50m offered & then fight does not happen.
    Time will tell.
