if wlad beats chagaev...

    I don't see why the WBA won't sanction the fight as a title fight...

    From their point of view this would be incredibly advantageous, Wlad wins, force him to fight Valuev, Wlad now has to chose to fight Valuev or Povetkin but either way he'd lose a belt. Should Wlad chose to fight Povetkin then the WBA can go straight to Valuev-Ruiz III and clean up the mess they made in one stroke.

    That's wrong.

    The winner of Wlad - Chagaev (if sanctioned by the WBA) would be WBA "super champion", thus he has about 18 months before fighting the WBA "regular" champion...
