    F*cking ******s :rofl

Explain how Peter and Haye are better than Byrd.

F*ck off. I guess Pacquiao is no ATG either because he lost to Torrecampo and some thai guy. Or Dempsey since he lost to Willie Meehan and Fireman Jim Flynn who had lost 5 fights in a row prior to KOing Dempsey in the 1st. Or Evander Holyfield since he lost his title to a f*cking LHW :rofl Klitschko haters arguments don't even make sense.

Said it before and i'll say it again, hardly anyone in the divisions history can say they were the top hw for 6 years running.

Seriously there's hardly any when you look into it.

Wlad beat Haye who beat Audley, there's no doubt he's number 1 already!

Even if it isn't exactly 6 years yet, not many can rival 5 and a half.

Only sullivan, jeffries, johnson, louis, ali, larry and lewis have spent longer as the best hw in the world by my book.

That's not the be all and end all, ofcourse, resume and skillset also comes into it.

If we were to do a top ten of the last 6 years who's on it that wlad hasn't beat? Very few I bet.

    From top of my head:

    Wlad
    Vitali
    Byrd
    Peter
    Chagaev
    Haye
    Ibragimov
    Povetkin
    Chambers
    Valuev

That's 6 of the top ten he's beaten, can't fight himself, won't fight his brother, fought both guys who beat valuev and povetkin won't enter the same continent as wlad atm. Pretty dominant really.

To watch him on film against byrd in the rematch and it's hard imagining more than a handful triumphing over his atg jab, power and range control.

He's not yet in my top ten atm (large scale revaluation) but if he beats say two of arreola, adamek and povetkin this year he definitely makes it hard for me to leave him out of the top ten and probably higher.

Why do you rate Arreola that highly? He hasn't beaten anyone :think

I don't know. I could easily see Wlad going undefeated for another 2 years in this lackluster division. Wlad is the equivalent of a highschool kid picking on middle schoolers. He's bigger, stronger, and more skilled than everyone else. So with the lack of good heavyweights around, I could see him going another 5 years without too many bumps in the road.

Folks the good thing is that Wlad *ENJOYS* cleaning out the division. I don't ever see Wlad be lethargic or lacking the fire. He appears to genuinely love what he's doing.

He can keep at this for at least another two years. Just has to stay focused and not get knocked out by some nondescript bum.

It'll be funny in two years time when this thread is bumped again and people will be saying **** like "well if he reigns another 2 years and has a consecutive 10 year stint as champ, maybe he'll enter my top hundred"

He's not as highly rated as say chag, chambers or thompson but he's dominated those 3.

Helenius has just been beaten by chisora.

Arreola is easily same level as say boystov or dmi plus he's more exciting, more marketable and more importantly is a well ranked contender.

Luf, did you catch my post in the classic forum? On the top 30 heavies?

And you have given me something to chew on in this thread, iE, Vitali conceding he is not the top fighter.

I will be mulling that around for a while.

Oh, for sure, but that's not really saying much, is it? I'd rank Seth Mitchell over Arreola even, at leaast he's undefeated and may still do something with his career, I don't see Arreola going any higher TBH.

Holmes has the likes of Shavers, Norton and lets not forget the way way over the hill GOAT Ali and he will be remembered for that. Those names are always mentioned when you talk about the history of the HW division.

Wlad will be remembered for fighting the likes of............................

You can be king of the division for years but if you don't have that defining fight then what? The likes of HBO and Showtime etc stop showing your fights because they have no relevance.
