I meant to say their primes were cut down so short, Diego had a fight coming up with Castillo, steward was still doing his thing and we'll, everybody loves Tapia. My fourth wish would be to have cus back to protect Mike from the leeches and ensure head movement. Just lives cut too short. For example, Gatti the blood and guts warrior and Marvin Hagler that gets major love and everybody misses. I guess my criteria is a little bit messed but just imagine bringing them back at a age where you feel it's a nostalgic time. For example, johnny was already done his career, was on the retirement circuit. I'm just sorry for the friends and family he had that lost him. He is one of the best stories in sport, a successful boxer . One of my favorite fighters and I hope he rest in paradise. So what I'm saying is, I wouldn't wish any ring wars on my Vida Loca, but would love to see him with his faculties reaping the fruits of his labour, so I guess I chose 2 out of 3 in their primes and one retired, so I guess it's both to answer your question. Emmanuel Steward, Gil Clancy, Angelo Dundee. If I can be a bit greedy, Reg Gutteridge, Harry Carpenter. Boxers life span is very short. But trainers and commentators cross over decades. Guys that have been around and seen boxing greats and legends over 30, 40 years. Such knowledge and experience.
I would pick my favorite fighters, but there are too many men who died too young and that's excluding in the ring accidents. Stanley Ketchel, Pancho Villa, and of course Salvador Sanchez are the first three that come to mind though there are more.
It's hard to pick so many I could choose from, my wife and I met Emanuel Steward at Caesar's Pocono Resorts before the Lennox Lewis fight. He was really nice and friendly, we wished him and Lennox luck against Tyson, not that we felt he really needed it, but he would definitely be one. I always liked him as a commentator also.

I'm going to go with three men who died due to damage caused in a fight. 1. Maxim Dadashev - I watched the fight on the Teofimo Lopez - Masayoshi Nakatani undercard. - It was painful to watch. 2. Duk-koo Kim - I cheered for Boom Boom during that fight and it took me a bit of time to reconcile my love for boxing with my disgust for the damage it can cause. 3. Jimmy Garcia - I was a big Gabriel Ruelas fan and he never seemed the same after Garcia passed away.
But on that note, Perhaps someone could have intervened with Diego Corrales. After all it was fight night that weekend and he was having a few drinks, feeling tipsy. Somebody should've just taken his keys and not let him drive. Ricky Hatton hugged Diego's widow. Boy she was in rough shape. Hatton, did the proper thing and what a friend outta do and grieved with her. To many he was a good person, a father, a husband, a son. He didn't deserve it. During that time, they would have access to video of all fights up till the present. During the second year they would be able to spar and practise some 'exhibition' or 'friendly fights' against lower level competition. Then, I would set them loose on the current Heavyweight scene ( or cruiser weight, if they wanted to begin there). And then, some burning questions that have long-plagued the classic forum, might get some distance towards being resolved.
