Ya know you're right. I'm sure that after the 3rd we'll want a 4th and so on and so forth. I think some people would be content to see nothing but Pac-JMM fights from here til they retire.

In a way we're pretty blessed to have seen a division with the likes of Pac, JMM, MAB and Barrera all at once.

Very true. Still think it's a shame Naz didn't have his head with him towards the end as I'm sure we would have seen a few more classics. An Ingle-trained Naz would have had some classic brawls with those guys I bet. A Naz who could bounce back from losses would've been deadly in that pack of fighters, and I'm sure we would've seen some great matchups.

Just out of curiosity, how does everyone see Mijares-Montiel going down?

Tough choice! Would have said cotto-margo II, but Ill go with Klitscko vs Haye. Haye is one annoying mofo, but nevertheless he managed to get everyone excited. If he manages to back it all up he will be the phenomenon in my eyes. If he loses.. Well, he is fighting Klit, so It wouldn´t be that big of a surprise. In my mind Haye has been brilliant at hyping this fight!
    Im on the express:yep

Naz-Morales would've been a very very fun affair.

As per Mijares-Montiel...I dunno. Montiel has kind of gone into a bit of inactivity (at least compared to the path Mijares is blazing) and I don't think there's a fighter who can box with Mijares for 12 rounds and take a decision. Not that he's invincible of course, just that as of right now there's noone could touch him in a boxing contest. On another hand I've seen some very strange scoring when it comes to Mijares encounters, leading me to believe that if Montiel does just enough he could take it on a decision.

There have been some strange split decisions in Mijares fights. For example I had him beating Munoz by four rounds. Competitive fight though, obviously.

    Luckily Arce was a UD!!!

I think Mijares might stop Vic late on in the fight, he will be too quick, and whilst Vic has power, Mijares has taken some heavy hits before and has shown he has decent skills of recovery. besides, I think Darchinyan will find it hard to get his punches off when he's being completely outboxed.

I just hope Montiel sticks around at SFW or that Mijares can make the seamless transition up to BMW, which is a division that needs some stars.

Darchinyan is awkward with the way he moves, holds his hands, throws punches and just generally handles his business in there and Mijares can start slow sometimes..so I expect the feeling out process to last well past the 3rd round or so. After that? I expect it to become pretty one sided once Mijares figures Darchinyan out. I figure Darchinyan gets TKO'd around the 9th or so although he'll have an occasional good moment in there. Mijares is too slick and fast for Darchinyan, whose there to be countered and has a less than stellar chin.

Brilliant analysis. Honestly, I would not be surprised if that's exactly how the fight goes.

Was made very quickly this fight, haven't had to wait long for it. If only it was like that with every big matchup.

Tony is one of my top 3 favorites, but he simply does not have the footwok to deal with Floyd's movement.

I voted for Pavlik/Abraham for 1 simple reason. Prior to the Hopkins fight Pavlik did not need Abraham, now he does. Arthur's problem will be that he won't get the version of Kelly that was on intervenous antibiotics and fluids just 3 days prior to the fight. He'll get the 100% version. That means 8 rounds of target practice for KP, and then Abraham gets carried out. That won't be enough to stop the haters from critisizing KP. They'll just claim Arthur was an over rated euro-bum.
