Froch - Groves will be a lot more competitive for me so I'd pick that personally.

I would always pick the more competitive bout which in this case Froch-Groves

Pac-Rios is a mismatch, the casuals will lap it up tho.

HA, Froch vs Groves is the mismatch and the casuals (you included) have lapped it up.

Rios has a chance vs Pac, a very slim chance, but a chance nevertheless. Froch (unless freak injury occurs) will get an easy KO victory.

We shall see on Saturday. Hearn has you convinced though so he has done his job well. Made a mismatch look a 50/50 fight to you it seems.:rofl:rofl:rofl

Pac - Rios will be a one sided beatdown while it lasts! Pac will stop Rios inside 6 rounds! Similar to Pac - Hatton

Groves - Froch will be a boxing lesson by GG he will fight a smart fight and win by UD! SImilar to Garcia - Mathysse

Ha, nothing like Garcia vs Lucas, Garcia had already beaten top opposition (in Garcia's own opinion he had already beaten better that Lucas) before that fight.

You will see! I made big profit on the Garcia - Matthysse fight! when almost everyone was saying Lucas would KO Garcia i saw the fight going very differently! I had money on Garcia by UD @ 9/1

and i see the Groves - Froch fight going the exact same way! Groves by Ud is 14/1 if you want to earn some good money this weekend then this is your chance!

I would agree with you if Groves had a sturdy chin like Garcia does, Groves hasn't the punch resistance to last the 12 vs Froch. he has the skills i agree but his chin will be his downfall.

So called boxing fans lapped up the twaddle Haye always speaks before fights and Groves has just learn't off the master how to sell and hype a fight. He's promising to stand toe to toe with Froch and knock him out but there is NO chance he will do that during the fight and hasn't got the boxing ability to outbox Froch for 12 rds either as his skillset is nowhere near that of Jermaine Taylor, Andre Ward or Dirrell.

I'll break down the two fights.

    Rios vs Pac

We've seen two clear ways to beat Rios, one is to smother and tie him up on the inside all 12 rds whilst also keeping him on the end of crisp straight jabs or the other way is to keep on the backfoot and let him make mistakes lunging in then punish him and keep moving away so he can never set his feet to punch.

Now Pac could box a disciplined fight and easily win, hell he could have won a comfortable decision against Marquez all four fights if he fought defensively but it's not within Pacs nature to do that so he will fight within Rios's range the entire 12 rds using side to side movement and hitting Rios from all kinds of angles. He's going to give Rios a bit of a beating the first few rds BUT eventually Rios will start connecting with some of his bombs once Pac starts to slow down later in the fight so anything could happen then. We know Rios hits like a freight train and what happened to Pac in his last fight. Pac is still the favourite but Rios is definately a live underdog.

    Froch vs Groves

Groves has never beaten a Top 10 Super Middle, he did well against Degale the first 7 rds but then was hanging on for dear life between rds 8-12 and was lucky to get the decision. His chin is also questionable and he'll never be hit as hard by another Super Middle in his career, also he won't have faced another Boxer who has the heart, desire and will to win that Froch has. Groves will employ similar tactics that he did against Degale plus a bit of Dirrell too but this just won't work with Froch for 12 rds, at some point Froch will start catching him and then destroy him. This fight is man against boy, Groves can talk all he wants but when he gets in that ring he won't have the skills or power to keep Froch away or off him for more then 6rds.
