If you've never seen Judah - Witter

I wasn't analysing anything there, just an obvious observation. I personally would rather survive 12 rounds by hook or by crook at a weeks notice as a novice rather than get KTFO and hit my head on the ringpost. If you'd ever been in a ring, you'd know when a guy has the beating of you. It is excusable simply because Witter was inexperienced, if he did something similar now I'd be far more scathing...

I've already said why Judah would win. Either give your own analysis, or shut the **** up with the snide remarks.

Appreciate this being put up, been meaing to see this for a while.
Thought Witter looked alrite for the first four but after that he hardly landed a shot and seemed content to switch and pose for the rest of the fight. Good to see how hes improved since this.

It is somewhat interesting you like Cotto, when he is in the same boat as Witter really. Neither can get a fight against the supposed 'man' in their division despite being consensus #1 contenders.

That's quite a boast. How do you see Witter V Bradley and Froch V whoever his opponent is now turning out?

P.S I might be confusing him with someone else, but I think TFFP is quite good at calling fights, he's near the top in the prediction thread in general.

I agree with what TFFP said about not having to take unnecessary punishment when your a basic novice and know that you're out-matched.

Being brave and taking a risk is one thing, being reckless and stupid is quite another.

    A few small differences...

Mainly the whole world wanting Cotto-Mayweather, and only ESB British forum making any noise about Witter-Hatton.
Plus Cotto is fighting all challengers to Floyd to prove he's #1, Mosley, Judah, Margarito... Witter's fought Vivian Harris.

    I'm sorry that I don't think Witter-Hatton is a must fight, but I just don't.

It's funny you should say that, because I've NEVER seen Bradley or Rybacki fight. And I don't pretend to know what will happen in fights that I haven't seen one of the boxers.

    I couldn't tell you.

Nah, Cotto's fan base is too small. PBF will most likely be tied up next year whipping Hatton again, so he'll be too busy to face Cotto.

I'm quite aware of the difference in scale, but the basic principle of top dog avoiding his #1 contender at the weight are the same

Besides, since you are such a big fan of Cotto you should be rooting for him to get a fight with Mayweather after hes finished with that pointless De La Hoya rematch. Leaves the coast clear for a Witter fight, pending Hatton beating Malignaggi and Witter coming through this and whoever else :yep

In Hatton's last fight at 140 he fought the #1 contender... How often does a champion need to fight the #1?

And I'd rather see a Brit fight the p4p #1 again, than a foreigner, even if it is Miguel.

It shows one is fit enough to take a fight at a few days notice and last 12 by whatever means.

Could hatton take a fight at a few days notice ? NO not unless it was at SMW.

Sleaze go take your hatton nuthugging elsewhere, I think everyone can see through your shill act by now.

Well, I've seen a bit of Bradley and he'll be lively early on, and probably have some success in outworking Witter. He'll really struggle as the pace slows with that style...

That Froch fight is just common sense. 37 year old with a padded record, there is a reason he's been so cautiously matched and is coming in on a weeks notice

Can never be sure when you havn't seen much of guys, but logically these should be easy enough to pick

That's what boxings all about, taking fights on short notice... all the greats done it and that's why they're rated so highly.
