I'm pretty sure that Ike could atleast make something like 30.000$ per fight against journeymen, practically no risk but very good rewards for someone who probably doesn't have a single buck to his name. And after doing something like 6-8 fights against hopeless fighters he could probably find himself in a fight vs a serious contender and make something close to 400.000$ for just one fight. That is assuming that he doesn't look like the unbeatable Ike of old against them hopeless fighters, in that case nobody will want to face him.

Ike will be back for his last paydays.... why wouldn't he be?
Or he'll be back in jail before that ever happens.

Ike is washed up. Beating Ike now wouldn't gain anyone respect.

Ike seemed like a truly demented and disturbed individual. I really hope he has "rehabilitated".

As for a boxing sense, he will not be a factor.

Yes Ike is coming back to boxing.

He will be training for the rest of the year and getting himself back into fighting shape and then he'll start getting some fights in 2015 and then look at a World title fight in late 2016/early 2017.

He'll only be 43/44 years old by then which is nothing nowadays, he's still fresh and has the motivation and passion to become World Heavyweight champion.

Is this for real? He could still beat most of the division even in his 40s if he was in shape and prepared. Dude's gifted even if he is Crazy with a capital C.

Yeah it depends if he gets deported from America or is given leave to stay.

If he has to go back to Nigeria then the chances of him boxing again are pretty much gone but if he can stay in America and resume his training then he'll have a good chance to resurrect his career.

He'll need to spend the rest of 2014 training his ass off and getting himself into fighting shape, it'll also depend if a promoter is willing to give him a chance and pay for all his living, training and supplement expenses.

It's a long road back for Ike but if he can get him into fighting shape then even at 42 he could make a few waves in Heavyweight boxing especially as it looks like Wladimir Klitschko will be retired by the end of 2015.
