Ike would've been a nightmare for Lennox. Doesn't necessarily means he wins, in fact, I think had they fought in 2000 Lennox would've been too much for him.

I do believe Ike was scheduled to face Michael Grant before the Vegas incident. That would've been telling. Grant eventually fought Golota and was pushed into fighting Lennox.

I'm an Ike fan (as a fighter, not as a man), but think Lewis does him. Just a different class.

It depends on whether Ibeabuchi could have improved and by how much, had his career not been cut so very short.

At the point that he was forced to quit, due to his personal circumstances, Ike was still very raw, in my opinion. That version of him would have had only a slim chance of pulling off the win and I can't see him beating an on-song Lewis.

Perhaps, if the fight took place at altitude, with Ibeabuchi having properly prepared and Lewis having decided not to train (arriving atop of the mountain, the day before the fight), Ike's prospects improve a good deal.

I think it's a hard fight for Lewis, but he was more proven in world class than Ike, and would respect him, so comes in top shape and prepared. Lewis would likely prevail via competitive decision.

Though Ike was no angel he wasnt the evil monster many say he was. It would have been a good fight

Your not alone in wanting that. The Pugilist Specialist had other plans. Oh yea! He had it all planned out.

It a good fight. Ike had some tools. Ike is like a good movie that your about 20 minutes into that just gets cut off. At the time I was watching I was desperate to see a good movie.

I don't know what he does in his spare time but prime vs. prime Lewis for sure. Ike had potential. He went toe to toe with Tua and won a hard fought and very close decision. He stopped Byrd in the 5th round. What else? There's nothing. Lewis. He beat everyone he faced... eventually. Yes, he was stopped twice but he did avenge those losses in rematches. No one else was able to drop him. He beat Ruddock KO2, Tucker W12 (first man to drop him and he did it twice), Bruno KO7, Morrison KO6, Mercer W10 (went toe to toe), McCall TKO5, Golota KO1, Briggs KO5, Holyfield W12, Tua W12 (wasn't even close), Rahman KO4, Tyson KO8, V. Klitschko KO6, and others.

I think Ibeabuchi would beat Lewis because he looked better than the Lennox destroyer Rahman or McCall.

LOL Rahman didn't destroy Lennox That loss was Lennox own fault. He was making the movie Oceans 11 & was partyng with Clooney & Pitt & shirking off training. He also was late getting to S Africa so wasnt acclimatised to the thin air. Rahman caught him when he wasnt focused
Rock paid for it in the rematch didnt he ? Now THAT was being DESTROYED lol

Maybe Rahman wasn't focused when Lewis beat him...
