I had, if I recall correctly, Quartey win that by 3. De La Hoya got some very dubious decisions around that period, including the Whittaker fight, and then had a cheek to moan about Trinidad winning a fight that HBO scored as a draw and, in the process, created a persistant myth that he dominated the first 7-8 rounds.
I have the fight on video... DLH won... It was close, but DLH gets the edge for being more so busy... Plus, DLH score 2 knockdowns while suffering 1 himself... Still, after 12 classic rds, DLH gets my vote... MR.BILL
