Ike Quartey's Monsterous Bazooka Jab

One of the best jabs ever fast and hard.

 

Underrated fighter ATG jab.

 

I had Ike beating Oscar by a point or two (and Bazooka was a little past his absolute best by then IMO).

I think his jab would've really troubled Mosley around 2000.

Would've been great to see him fight Pea in the mid 90s, then Tito, then Sugar Shane.

The best ww Quartey vs the best ww Mayweather is an interesting fight to ponder as well.

Great fighter! He was my favorite in the 1990s.

 

His and Holmes' are the best of my lifetime.

 

At the time Ike fought dlh I was a huge fan of Oscar but I saw Ike winning more rds and winning the fight.Not a robbery of course.

 

Ike's jab is ridonkulous.

 

This is the kind of Jab that decisions Floyd and fooking hammers Pacqiaou.

Yes not every round was action filled and no its not overrated. It was very tension filled and they both had respect for each other because both had dynamite in their hands. The action made up for the lulls in action. To this day its a fan favorite and it delivered.
