I hope Sonnen beats Silva... But he is not a finisher and even if he can take and keep Silva down for a few rounds Silva will catch him and hurt him at some point.
of course he believed...he aint making enough cash for him to take the fight if he dont think he can win.
Hey, dont get me wrong...I'm not saying dont go into your fight confident, but dont get delusional either...I understand him saying he will upset Silva, no problem...but retire him???:rofl
I guess it all comes down to whether Sonnen can hold Silva on his back from 25 straight minutes. I honestly can't say that I'm rooting for either one of these guys. Silva's antics have put me off of him, but Sonnen really rubs me the wrong way. I just hope that someone gets hurt badly.

He's psyching himself up for the fight. He's lost to much lesser fighters than Anderson Silva and he knows he needs every advantage he can get going into the fight. I just hope he gives a good account of himself so we can get a decent fight out of it. I think it is going to be a brawl. I'm looking forward to it. Silva needs someone that is going to press him and try to throw him on his head all night.
I think he believes it hes a confident guy and has alot of ability when you have fought at a high level like he has you gotta believe you have what it takes to beat the best or what the **** are you doing there ? Sonnen beating Silva isnt impossible nothing is impossible. Silva has medicore takedown defense and Sonnen has just got through throwing Marquardt and Okami around like freaking ragdolls its possible he gets his takedowns and wears Silva down im not expecting it but id atleast say Sonnen has a better chance then any Middleweight has vs Anderson since Henderson did 2 1/2 years ago.
Of course he doesn't believe it, he does believe he can win though, he has a half decent shot if he keeps looking better and better the way he has. He is one of the best trash talkers around though, clearly loves playing the pantomime villain.
He definently believes it and some even believe in him. It surely doesn't make sense to pick the guy because he is a talker but I'd like to see him go out there and do it. I don't have anything against Silva but I'm rooting for Sonnen out of patriotism and because I'm a big fan of wrestlers.
I'm glad his talking **** cuz silva needs to come in motivated and actually fight and not dance. This ain't no dancing with the stars motha****a.
