Because Shane says he is the best fighter in the world...


And there is a fighter in his OWN'T division who is begging to fight him, and can't wait to whip his ass.



If he would just fess up and say he's after the money, then that would be different. But don't say you're fighting to prove you're the best and you don't want to fight a guy in your own division.

It's simple. If Shane is so much better, he should go ahead and kick his ass in a tune-up fight.

 

i dont think fringe boxing fans would b too interested in mosley v williams, he wants pacman and PBF b/c he can make a big payday.

 

Shane just wants to know what it feels like to be PBF for a day, trying to cherrypick smaller guys he feels he can whack.

The only people complaining about this proposed fight are Floyd nuthuggers, and the reason is obvious: Their guy is scared to death to fight Shane and they are afraid Shane will get to fight the small guy before PBF does, thus ruining the fight that is supposed to place PBF back atop the P4P rankings. This strategy is more obvious than looking for a fat guy at a Twinkies convention.

Hence, "Shane should fight Williams." Plus, it makes everyone forget Floyd ducked Williams.

This is good for Pac, and will give him more leverage in the PBF negotiations. By the way, it would be a great fight. But, like PBF, Shane is likely too big for Pac.

 

shane is looking for money and williams vs mosley will not bring as much money as pacquioa vs mosley

 

Mosely fought Winky Wright 2x and Vernon Forrest 2x at a time when they were both fighters who were avoided. He recently fought another avoided fighter in Margarito. I seriously doubt that Mosely is afraid or is ducking Williams.

Paul Williams is not a draw and Shane Mosely is at the stage of his career where he wants the big money fight. If he commits himself to fighting Williams there is an opportunity cost involved in that decision. If I were Shane I'd give it some time before I leap into a decision just for the sake of making a decision especially since Mosely has a good 3-4 fights left in him.

 

Who the **** said anything about Floyd? You dumb cocksucker, it's a well known fact around here that I don't give a flying **** about Floyd...

This is about Shane claiming he is the best boxer in the world, yet he doesn't want **** to do with PW.
