Shane is getting older and he wants a megafight, Shane has fought whoever whenever for years so if he wants to pursue a megafight I cant fault him He did just get divorced you know..lol and he did rid us of Margarito something in witch i will be forever grateful for.

    You're right man...

It's just kind of sad, though.

I just can't understand how all these "hardcore fans" like to take up for this type of ****. I know "boxing is a business" and all that ****... but I thought everyone wanted to see the best fighters in the ring.

If the best vs.the best started happening more regularly, boxing would get a lot more mainstream coverage, and would be that much bigger for everyone involved.

funny thing is that PW according to some boxing fans wanted to fight Mosley for the past two years but to this date Mosley has not uttered a word that he wants to fight Williams

I want Pac to likewise meet Mosley on the weight wherein Pac will be comfortable. Catch weigth maybe at 143/144lbs....

Mosley is so big he can fight Williams at 154lbs but Mosley isn't interested at all. High risk low reward. Since he is much bigger than PAC, it's going to be Low risk High reward for fighting PAC.

Because he'd make the biggest payday against Pacquiao (or Mayweather).

Pacquiao is ranked #1 p4p, and it would be a huge event.

How is that not hard to understand?

Mosley already cheated by taking steroids and EPO for a fight. That's more worthy of losing respect for someone, rather than for a guy almost 40 years old to be chasing a huge payday before his time as a fighter is up.

I'm a Cotto fan. I'm also a big Mosley fan. I know that both would probably lose against Floyd...but I want to see it happen anyways. It's the best against the best that drives the sport. The problem is too many promoters do their job too well (maximize the money aspects without risking anything).

    Sad but true.

    No he isn't.

He gave that recognition up, along with the Ring recognizing him as P4P#1, when he retired.

The Ring even mentioned that he sent a letter to them and told them he was retired.

Mosley has said previously he'd consider it but at this point he wants bigger money fights. He has pretty much made it clear he wants to fight the bigger money guys out there, Williams just isn't one of them. I think Williams is one of those last resort "Do I HAVE to dad?!" sort of fights.

Shane at this point is looking for BIG money fights. Be honest if Shane fought PW and beat him what would that do??? Would that make Floyd or Pac want to fight him more???

My thing is Pac though Roach and Arum are calling these fighters out, but once they start coming back at him all of the sudden its you have to weigh this and your only going to get that. For those of us that arent blind and have been around knows that this is the way that Arum plays the game. He wants it to appear that Pac is willing to fight anyone at anytime, that is the case, but some people just dont see it. If you call out the welterweight champion of the world then you should go fight him, he had no problem fighting Oscar at 147 but he cant fight Floyd, Shane or Cotto at 147. They talked about fighting a 154 Chavez Jr what weight do you think that will be at???

At 38 Shane does not need to fight a prime Paul. Why is it that Mosley is he only one to fight guys like Williams?

And anyway, PW is the only top fighter that Shane has ducked (and it isn't that bad since I tend to agree that at this point, Shane has nothing to prove and deserves mega fights)

Shane already did the best fighting the best bit, numerous times.

So he's ducking PW, that's just 1 fighter he's ducking, that's still much better compared to some other top fighters.

Mosley deserves a big money fight. The guy has fought everyone out there. The man just destroyed margarito, you know, the last 'most feared man in boxing", how soon people forget
