You advocate such behavior in the sport of Boxing? :blood

    I'm flabbergasted.

AA was losing the 11th round. Why Fake all of a sudden. I could say if he was getting worked over.

Some go stiff some go limp. But the idea is, Taylor still had some functions. He was still even conscious. He was a jellyfish, but he was conscious. Guys react differently.

I just can't see how in the 1 second..... one second.......( as long as it took you to read the 2 words) he had the presence of mind, especially after getting hit, to concoct this plan. It's not plausible in my eyes.

    Behavior?

This type of **** is part of the sport.

He clearly felt he was taking more punishment then before, the fight was clear DQ from the second the shot landed.

No need to continue the fight, it was over.

It;s not like AA hit him just as he went down, he hit him very late.

    STFU, *****. :good

On a serious note, if Dirrell can fake that well then he shouldn't be a boxer mate. Professional acting pays good too, plus you don't have to take punches from guys like Abraham.

I mean, can we be sure it's impossible to feel the effects of a blow a little while after it's delivered and not right away? Don't know, don't think we can though.

You're covering less than a second in excruciating detail. It really looks like you're grasping at straws. He got punched, hung there and fell over. I'd have to see it in glorious HD and have a look at his eyes, but he looked pretty ****ed up.

    To me it is.

He slipped, realized he was going to get hit.

    Got hit, went from there.

    The mind acts fast.

Either way, all I feel is dirrell exaggerated.

For every new post, I feel more disconnected from you.

We have absolutely nothing in common...whatsoever.

I think for a fighter to fake a serious injury for the sake of a Boxing match is immoral. I have no respect for such behavior, and I'd hope that these said individuals would never find themselves on a major Sports Network again.

This is the part that imo doesn't fit with the "faking" claims.

    On the money.

    Were we ever connected?

I cant stand that because I feel one way, Ive suddenly become an ignorant and dumb poster to you.

    It's rather demeaning.

To me, it looks one way.

To you, it looks like something else.

I am not saying you are wrong, not at all, it's very possible that he wasn't faking.

I am insulted by you, but I guess I should be, that's what you are trying to do.

Not true at all. You can get a concussion and still be awake, you can get brain damage and still be conscious. Im not even saying Dirrell has these things now, but the fact is head trauma, and KO's in boxing, manifest differently lots of times.

Dirrell was hurt in round 10 and knocked down, and was in retreat mode at the time of the slip....He boxed beautifully the first 7 rounds....

He got hit by an illegal punch, knowing full well he was up on the cards....If he stays down, easy DQ win....Easy call to make, and smart move by dirrell....We all saw AA put taylor to sleep with 15 seconds to go in round 12....Sound logic for dirrell NOT to get up from a clear illegal punch...
