Act knocked out. Secure DQ win. Fake memory loss. Sell the act. Cry in the center of the ring. Happy he got away with it. Either way Dirrell was going to win, but what do I know. Im ignorant.
Dirrell pretty much exposed Arthur Abraham tonight. I have always felt there was a good chance that both Andre's will pull through. Frankly with this win and Dirrell really winning the Froch fight he should be in the final now and I speak as someone who quite lies Carl Froch.
A win is a win....do you want to risk being KO'D/Taylorized in the 12th by abraham knowing full well you are way ahead....I don't think so....Dirrell did the smart thing no doubt to stay down....Your arguing this from a moral standpoint, and I see your point...
The key difference is that when he was punched in the fight he could see it coming and he had his legs for support. It's the punches you don't see that hurt you, you should know that if you've ever boxed or paid attention to what you're watching. I can see what sort of intellect we are dealing with here, I'm done with you.
Two things. 1) AA is between Dirrell and the ref. 2)His head snaps back and he immediately puts his hand up. Again you do realize in real time that, the amount of time for him to get hit and hit the canvas is ONE SECOND.
I'm not actually, i'm a fan of sport and what is right. And this coming from someone with Abraham in their avatar If you watch that video and can't see the truth then there is nothing I can say.
It's smart to stop fighting because you feel the blow might hinder your performance, but to go to the extremities of shaking, crying, and faking memory loss? In really bad taste and he should probably reevaluate himself as a result. ...Not that I agree with Eze, I think Dirrell was genuinely effected by the illegal blow to the head.
