It looks to me like Wlad and Steward are on the same page so much, they are beginning to get on a roll. It might be too late for any opponent. Tua's knockout of Ruiz was classic. I think if Tua landed the left hook on Wlad it might also be Ruiz all over again. But, Wlad and Steward are not in the hypothetical game. Boxing is never about how you can take a hypothetical punch (Ali might not be able to take a perfect Tua punch either after what Frazier did to him), but instead how you avoid those punches, and deliver them back for a victory. Great fighters never get hit by the hypothetical punch. Tua packs a wallup, no doubt, and your aching to see Wlad get wallupped. If Tua gets by Arreola, and Wlad stops Povetkin, you just might get your wish.
Tua ALMOST at his best didn't even come close to Lennox Lewis, remember? Neither could he SPARK Rahman whose whiskers are more fragile than Wladimirs wine glass. He had to CHEAT in order to get by Rahman, and then robbed Rahman off a win by drawing in their rematch, where Tuas promotor cried his god damn eyes out when Rahman weighed in at 250lbs. :| Tua = OVERRATED
I agree with your post, and laughed at the part when you said "Wladimirs wine glass". Tua has 2 of the main 3 things american people love to see in a fighter, heart/chin and power, he has a likable personality, but it's not Tyson or Ali like, one that gets the attention of everyone, not just boxing fans. I do feel if any fighter made contact with Wlad's glass chin, he will either go down or have one of his famous panic attacks, his weak chin hasnt changed, it's more protected now with the help of Steward, who changed Wlad from an offensive powerhouse, to a jab and grab expert. I would give Tua a punchers chance early, but after the 3rd round look for Wlad to make him look like C+ fighter he come to be now, by either getting the TKO late in the fight or getting the one sided decision.
Same dumb rhetoric over and over. Wlad has been hit plenty on the chin, come up with a new excuse. Ignorance gets old.
What the hell else do you want me to say, do you want facts? I have given you those in the past, but you still choose not to listen or disappear from the thread all together. You cant deny the fact that Wlad has very weak chin, the facts dont lie.
Facts? Because I have already explained the fight game to you and you don't understand it. Wlad has never been knocked out. That immediately suggests there are other factors then chin. So many factors are involved in hitting the deck. Balance, footwork, extensions, etc... Pannel, TOS, etc... were all balance, flash knockdowns. Even when getting blitzed by Sanders, he was totally cognizant and able but just wasn't coached well enough to extend a fight. Does Wlad has a good chin? Of course not. Is it glass? No, it isn't either and no evidence suggest it is glass. He has not had a Rahman loss? Or a Morrison loss? Or a Ruddock loss? It is black and white but idiots just don't see it.
I have watched every fight Wlad has been in from 01-02 on, Wlad does have a weak chin or severely lacks mental strength at the top level, the guy in your avatar didnt, people can make fun of Lennox all they want, but he was able to go toe to toe with his oppenents without hitting the deck or going into a panic attack, he went punch for punch with some of the best hitters in the game, and in the end got the KO more times than not, Mercer, Briggs, Bruno, Vitali, Morrison, all heavy bangers, yet he knew he was tough enough to hang in there and get the win, unlike Wlad who gets severely rocked by jabs (Brewster 3rd round 1st fight) and cant handle pressure for ****, as Lennox once put it "When the going gets tough, the tough get going", Wlad has yet to prove his toughness to me, without falling all over the place, excessively clinching, or panicking like a girl when things get a little rough.
Tua- was once a good fighter but sadly pissed away his prime years, but he would be about a foot shorter than Wlad, and jabbed to death and would lose a lopsided decision, or be stopped late by Wlad, why the **** is everbody down on Wlad, **** he does what Champions do defends his title on a regular basis and fights good quality opposition, it's not his fault, the Heavyweight didvision sucks balls..
I dont call Iggy, Thompson, Austin, a not medically cleared Brewster, thats not great competition, the last time Wlad was truly tested was against Peter in September of 05.
Yeah, if Tua lands clean on Wlad then he would probably take him out. So ****ing what? Listen ****nuts, I'm no Klitschkomaniac but you are just a watse of a username. You do nothing but contribute these lame threads about Wlad getting iced. It's really ****ing boring and not remotely funny. Dry your eyes at the earliest possible convenience. :good
\ Iggy was to unify and Thompson and Austin were bull**** mandatory fights. Do you expect Wlad to not want to unify or get stripped for not fighting his mandatories? How is it getting tested when Wlad won 9 of the 12 rounds?
I know they were his mandatories, he said Wlad fought the best competition he can, I disagree, other than Peter and Bryd the first time, I really dont see the good fighters he beat, do you? If he fought Chagaev, Valuev, and Povetkin I wouldnt say anything? Other than he should fight Peter again, because the first fight was competitive. I still think Wlad has a ways to go before claiming he's a Heavyweight great.
