The first Peter fight was not competitive. Peter lost every round but 3 that is not competitive. Thompson won more rounds and landed more punches than Peter did he was more competitive. I have never said Wlad is a Heavyweight great there will not be one from this era it is not deep and the talent level is a joke.

I think when a guy floors his oppenent 3 times, makes him clinch 97 times, and pressures him into a handful a panic attacks, he's done than enough to make it competitive, and all 3 judges seem to agree, Peter only lost by 3 points, on all 3 of the judges scorecards, the facts are right there Rico.

He lost by 3 points on all 3 judges score cards despite 3 knockdowns which is a 6 point swing in Peter's favor on the cards and that is competitive? How do you knock your opponent down 3 times and STILL lose by 3 points? :patsch :rofl

Yes, if he landed a well-placed left hook, Wlad would be in trouble.

On the other hand, if Wlad lands some well-placed right hands, watch Tua go into a bit of a shell and look to land one bomb at a time.

Wlad won the boxing match, I never said he didnt, but until now, your the first Wlad nuthugger who thinks it was an easy victory for Wlad like the Thompson and Iggy fights were, when it was anything but. Wlad looked like **** in that match, he turned his back numerous times, panicked, and excessively clinched his way to victory. If you call that a dominant win, I suggest you look into Lasik eye surgery, you would be a perfect candidate.:yep

Wlad nuthugger? LOL he has a Glass Jaw for christ sakes I am not a Wlad nuthugger. Thompson gave him a better fight than Peter did. I never said the win was so called dominant but when you win 9 out of 12 rounds that is pretty lopsided especially when you win by 3 points having been knocked down 3 times. That is what I was saying. Knockdowns don't mean **** if you lose all the other rounds which is what Peter did.

Will have to agree to disagree on this one. I cant see how anyone can say Thompson gave Wlad a better fight than Peter, when he never once floored him and only won 2 rounds on my and alot other peoples scorecards. Wlad looked much worse against the 25 yearold Peter, he looked very scared of Peter's power, clinching any chance he got, and practically running and falling all over the place from being pressured. Peter gave Wlad a tough fight, Thomspson didnt.

If Peter could not KO Wlad and his Glass Jaw his power is very overrated. Matter of fact, all of Peter's highlight KO's have come against China Chinned fighters that he was carefully matched with early in his career he only has 2 KO's in his last 6 fights since Wlad. Thompson had Wlad frustrated for a while as did Brock. You are putting way too much stock into those "Knockdowns".

Peter had Wlad hurt numerous times, only Wlad's excessive clinching kept him alive in that fight. Peter also fought the iron chinned Toney 2 of those times, and was the first Heavyweight to floor and hurt him, something former champs like Rahman, Holyfield, and Ruiz couldnt do.

Vlad is a belt holder, Tua is not, Vlad had some bad moments, Tua had many. Vlad has had many good moments, Tua has few. Tua is getting by on a few old ko's he scored, but he's a plodder, and has not done anything to get such praise.
