He's going to lose Marquez, Bradley, Dirrell, and Dawson soon ... he must be a cancer because you see a majority of his fighters going to the next level once they leave him.

Marquez doesn't want any more of Shaw productions ... Bradley just signed with Dunkin (just a sign that he'll go to TopRank) ... Dirrell will see his true colors before or after the super six is over ... Dawson is going to miss out as well ...

Right now it seems as though he's going to be left with Darchinyan and Angulo. Darchinyan is good but he doesn't have much fan fare in the US. Angulo seems to be on the rise but I doubt he'll make much of an elite champion - even in that weak division. It sucks but i'm sure that Shaw is banking on his ethnicity and his style to market him but I doubt that will work ... its been tried too many times.

    Thoughts?

There is always prospects out there...
Shaw has a pretty deep supply as long as the money is there.

Shaw doesn't have great prospects on his radar ... if the fighter has any sense then he would not go to Shaw productions ... I can say that Don is one of the best promoters in boxing history.

    Ali
    Holmes
    Tyson

That trumps almost all of boxing in the modern era ...

Not to add the numerous list of champions ...
    Spinks
    Trinidad
    Daniel Santos
    Rivera
    Alexander

.... I can say that Don King probably has the most world champions in the modern day of boxing.

Its because of Don King that the American HW scene isn't the way it has been in the past. He's given up on the American HW prospects and have been looking to crack co-promotional deals with European fighters ... like Valuev !!

King is shot. "Don King is one of the worst promoters out there now" and "Don King is one of the best (most successful) promoters of all time" are not mutually exclusive statements.

Honestly I don't even think he really cares/tries anymore. :conf

Darchinyan, Angulo, Dirrell and Dawson are enough cash cows to sustain Shaw for now.

I think Darchinyan v Donaire II should happen
I think Marquez v Vasquez IV should happen
I think that Dawson shouldn't be in the super six and he should be looking to rack up wins and beat more champions of 175.
I think Angulo shouldn't be pushed so fast (thats why he lost to Cintron)
I think Darchinyan should be marketed more as a headliner than a co-feature
I think Dirrell should have gotten more support --
