In defence in Mr.Haye

Mr Haye has been taking alot of stick recently and i just want to come to his defence.David has had to do it the hard way in this business winning the cruiserweight title in paris (just getting a tv deal the night before the fight)

Then moving up to heavy and going to german and winning the heavyweight title. (aint easy getting a decision in germny) Then he takes on ruiz nothing special but still a good performance.

A couple of points regarding the two brothers, He did call them out for a couple of years when he was challenger and the fight never happened not ideal. Since then however Mr Haye's profile has went through the roof and he is now wba champ and doing very big numbers in britain .

And i found mr warren's comments about the money for del chisora as not being great very intresting. im guessing about a 100-150 k. To put that into perspective earnie shavers got double that when he fought ali in 1977, dont get me wrong im not saying he deserves 50/50 or anything near that. however it tells me something about how the brothers treat their challengers.

Now onto Audley does he deserve a shot? Hell no!

However outside the brothers the division is horrible all equally as **** each other. After all haye has achieved without a promoter he now stands to make millions for an easy night's work against audley we shouldn't grudge him this. All fighters take easy paydays remeber coopman, dunn, london and countless others. And this is davids.

Not to worry the fight with vitali or Wlad will happen next year.

If he wasn't prepared to fight the Klitschko's why stop Wladimir in a shopping centre and humiliate him?

 

By the time the Harrison fight is over it will have been about 2.5 years and 4 fights since Haye told he will mount an assault on the heavyweight division and conquer. It's all gone a bit too far now. Fingers crossed we'll get to see the fight next year.

 

You only fight guy if the terms and conitions are fair.

 

Then maybe just maybe he should have keep quiet before doing all that tee shirt crap :think

 

From what everyone involved with it said, they were very fair. Probably fairer than he deserved

 

I think that was when Haye was trying to get a shot at a heavyweight world title so he went around trying to land a fight with whichever champion in that division he could.

 

He didn't exactly humiliate him

 

who cares,its a all british heavyweight title fight,lets get behind it and stop ****ing moaning,don't like it don't watch it,ive seen worse,ive seen better

 

Made a full of himself more than anything else...Wlad came out of that scirmish looking like a gentleman and respectful champion.

Some points:

• Audley is a terrible opponent and doesn't deserve a title shot, but Briggs and Chisora aren't a lot better.
• Haye is definitely more marketable and has a better profile than he did before the Valuev fight, so he deserves more money than he was able to demand then.
• Wlad offered Haye a 50-50 split, Haye and Booth have confirmed this. The reason Haye gave fo the fight not happening was due to K2's contract with German TV and something to do with the PPV split.
• If Haye turned down the offer he was reportedly given then he has ducked Wlad. Wlad has been calling Haye out yet Haye has been silent.

I like Haye as a fighter and I will always watch his fights and support him against the Klits. However he's being a ***** by ducking Wlad and fighting Audrey instead.
