Ive been watching Inoue vs Donaire over and over lately because of how awesome it was and I noticed Inoue kind of leaves his chin up in the air. Don’t be surprised if he gets ko’d sooner or later.
You are right about that, I also noticed it. But inoue has great reactions. And I'm sure you've noticed, then, that he is great at turning and swivelling his head, minimizing the damage done. Also seems to have a good chin. He is a responsible fighter, with a few kinks and some great physicality.
great chin but it will erode and crack eventually . His defense is average at best, offense is elite though.
Just an overall poor fundamental boxer. If he were fighting at 147-175 like Nelodaddy he'd be starched like a damn shirt. Imagine what Kovalev would do to a dude like that.
Inoue will be perfectly fine until he gets older and his reaction times slow. But that isn't right now so he isn't getting knocked out anytime soon.
Assuming your suggested fantasy is possible, Kovalev would been KTFO inside one round At 147 Inoue would have been 5'09"~5'11" Monster At 175 Inoue would have been 6'00"~6'03" Monster Chin tucked or un-tucked, the sorry opponent would have been KTFO, You don't want to go that route!
What fantasy? I'm saying if he were this size, Kovalev KTFO him. How are you making him bigger? If you got a machine that make a man bigger, hit me up in the PM's cuz I need help, son. All the help I can get.
Its a common practice in Asia, the results are impressive, as the focus is strictly on extending the limbs. Obviously its mostly scaling up, but in few instances shaving off bones of robust built peasant-females who want to pass themselves as ladies of fine concubine lineage.
Nery deserves credit for working hard to stay at 118, but he needs to make sure he doesn't fail those weigh-ins. Inoue vs Nery at 118 is the big fight
Inoue doesn't tuck his chin, he tucks you in as he sends you to sleep. Has Nery been banned BTW, not being able to fight for the WBC title or anything?
No he doesn't. It's one of his few technical failings, as almost everything else he does is textbook. Wonder if it's a trade off for fighting the way he does, and he feels that making that adjustment would throw something off his game?
