Yeah. You can use YouTube's primitive editing tools to delete parts out (although the tools aren't great, and it's difficult to fine tune down to a single frame in my experience). But you can't add stuff in, and you can't replace one video file with another - which really sucks if you catch a minor mistake after you upload and publish, because then you're either stuck with the mistake, forced to make an awkward cut if you delete a portion, or you need to take the video down and re-upload a corrected version as a new video.
Damn that sucks, was really looking forward to it. Hopefully it's not that serious of an injury where they have to push it way back further this year. Looks like Fulton will have to wait in the mean time.
OP should at least change the title. Postponed and off are 2 different things. The good news is that it means that the fight is still on but just waiting on a different date to be set. Perhaps we'll get some updates soon.
I don't think that's true, at least not based on anything I've ever seen. My channel is certainly not huge, but all the same, I try and keep up with YouTube's ever changing guidelines and added features, and I've never seen anything that indicates what you're suggesting, including first hand accounts from creators whose channels are gold level. Is this a feature reserved for platinum channels? Curious if you have a source for that? I'd be pretty surprised if that's true, because it would potentially taint the integrity of the algorithm. The only situation I'm aware of that allows you to add stuff is from YouTube's music library, but that doesn't allow you to fix a mistaken date, or add an extra sentence. Meaning, the video can only be edited in ways that either trim stuff out, or add music to an existing duration.
Probably. It's always a fear of mine when I try and cover something current. News moves fast, and unfortunately it generally takes me a few days to create a video from start to publish.
I guess this might not bode well for April 29, as I still firmly believe it's happening and that we are seeing a public hustle from both camps in cooperation.
