There's alot of filler on Mayweather's resume you could even include guys like Sharmba Mitchell, Jesus Chavez, DeMarcus Corley, etc.

Yeah Floyd's resume is better I don't really see how anyone can really argue that fact.

Not comparable, as far as ranked wins goes
That hernandez win gets overlooked too. Only Oscar beat him prior to Floyd

Ali was almost ended by Cooper.

Inoue got up, recovered, then returned the favor.

I don't like Floyd, but his resume gets undersold a ridicolous amount here many times. Yes, he didn't beat DLH, Canelo and Pac at their best, but neither was he for two of those fights. And they were still top fighters. Cotto proved to have plenty left and Floyd beat him comfortably. Yes, those aren't Montreal level wins, but pretty damned good nonetheless. Even old Mosley had showed in the previous fight that he, with HGH, still was a fighter to take seriously.

It's just plain weird to on one hand accuse Floyd of ducking Margarito and on the other dismiss the Mosley win. Floyd is a garbage human being (as too many ATGs unfortunately) and in the second half of his career he perfected the art of winning in a safe but boring fashion, but credit where credit is due. In his prime he breezed through almost everyone and even way into his 30's he made top fighters look like they didn't belong in the ring with him. Not many have done that.

Now that is what I'm talking about
That's about a balanced view of floyds career that I have read on here and from someone who doesn't like him

Agreed, no Montreal wins. He is no Duran, but still a great fighter that is major undersold here. There is a reason many fighters today name him among the best

Mayweather has more title defenses. And yet that doesn't convince me that he is better than Usyk.

Floyd never fought outside his home country. He only did so when he retired from boxing to fight complete mismatches against Japanese bantamweight kickboxers, MMA fighters, social influencers etc. Had he done so and fought JLC and Maidana in their countries that spotless record of his has 2 Ls on it.

And imagine he never had home advantage in any of his world title fights or fights at the world level like Usyk and instead all of those fights were either in his opponent's backyards or on the road which we know is that much more difficult to win on because it greatly increases your chance of losing by hook or by crook for a variety of different reasons. Hence why many are so reluctant to ever do so or literally never did.

So Floyd could have lost even more fights than 2 if he had to play the game by a set of rules Usyk has forged an entire career doing and Floyd forged an entire career never doing once

Let's not also forget that Usyk has never ducked or dodged anyone, never tried to age anyone out, tried to compromise or weaken opponents or gain any kind of advantage be it fair or unfair at the negotiating table nor tried to cripple them with rehydration clauses and catchweights despite the fact he's facing giants who hold massive or obscene physical advantages over him. He's literally jumped at the chance to face them in their backyards time and time again.

And he's an extremely clean fighter. No fouling or use of dirty tactics at all. No shoving his elbows in his opponent's faces repeatedly or holding like an octopus

Unlike so many multiple weight champions he has not jacked himself with PEDs to help him bridge the gap to become a multi-weight champion and compete against bigger or much bigger men.

Whilst Floyd and Manny have not failed PED tests many believe they did use PEDs and Floyd did get caught using an illegal IV and with extremely suspicious low T/E ratios, refusing to do VADA testing among numerous other red flags. I'm not going to accuse either of doing so but the point I'm making is that no such controversy surrounds Usyk, as in he hasn't been caught doing any of these things

And let's not forget he was almost 27 when he turned pro and he didn't even win a title up at HW until he was almost 35 when he was already past his prime and the fact he became undisputed at 37 when very noticeably physically declined is seriously impressive.

Floyd and Manny have deeper resumes because they turned pro way younger/ Usyk has the best 23 fight resume ever

And despite the fact he's fought a murderer's row of savage punching KO artists and legit bangers Usyk has never been dropped, nearly dropped or badly hurt or put on wobbly legs by a head shot.

Lewis was 1 punch KO'd x by fighters Usyk would've boxed the ears off

Ali was dropped heavily and saved from a KO loss by the bell and corner shenanigans by a 22lb lighter Euro level HW who was a few pounds heavier than Bivol

    Marciano dropped multiple times

Louis dropped many times and stopped in his prime

Wlad down many times and in his prime and knocked out/stopped multiple times

I can keep going and going

Even compare him to the current top fighters in the world

Crawford, Inoue, Beterbiev, Bivol, Bam-Rod etc. all been knocked down sans Bivol who was badly hurt once

Usyk fought more savage punchers and legit bangers than them all, some of whom have barely fought any legit bangers at all, especially their size

Clenelo is one of the few top fighters who has never been dropped but when you think about it he hasn't actually fought that many for someone of 66 fights. Obviously, like Usyk he has an iron chin and elite defence.

Uysk is an athletic phenom and the prime version, which so many keep forgetting or ignoring in not this version or even the HW version, was like a lightweight in the body of a 210lb man. You shrink him down to Floyd or Manny's size and he only gets much faster, even more agile, even more athletic, elusive and mobile, even more fitter

He averages more punches per round at HW than Floyd did at WW despite the fact he's fighting giants who are not only way bigger. heavier, taller and more powerful than him but in Belly and AJ's case also have big/huge reach advantages over him which was rarely if ever the case with Floyd

    Floyd averaged 40 a round at 147 and 50 at 130

    Usyk at CW

He averaged 78 per round against Gassiev who was one of the sport's most devastating punchers, bare minimum top 5 P4P hardest punchers in the sport for sure

He threw 905 punches against Hunter

Averaged 78 a round against Huck in 10 rounds

    Threw 848 against Briedis

Even up at HW he threw 712 in the AJ rematch

I'm not trying to be disrespectful about any of the other fighters I've mentioned in these posts I'm just using these examples to illustrate my points

What has that got to do with you saying they're on the same level resume wise ?

You're talking about something completely different and you haven't refuted any of my points.

Clearly Usyk is not on the same level as Mayweather resume wise as I've clearly demonstrated and you've done nothing to dispute it.

I don't think more title defenses means superior resume.
