Nonsense talk by Dana, and he knows it. There are two main reasons why Mayweather has opted to take on JMM:

1. It's his first comeback fight after over a year and a half of inactivity. Taking on the number 2 P4P fighter as opposed to the number 1, is a sound and logical choice. Bearing in mind the ring rust he'll be carrying, why immediately take on a guy that's on top of the world right now.

2. Perhaps the most important reason which has gotten under Dana's skin, is the business logic behind choosing Marquez. Mayweather knows that whether the fight with Pacquiao takes place now or next year, it will be an instant PPV success and draw massive figures. Similarly, a fight with JMM will also draw big numbers because fight fans are buzzing about the news of Mayweather returning. I've not come across any boxing fan who is not excited about this fight, absolutely everyone is looking forward to it.

So it's simple, instead of being treated to just one superfight involving Mayweather, we're being treated to two, and possibly more. So Dana's claims not only fall at the first hurdle, but it also exposes his envy at boxing's hottest division and the mouth watering fights that will be happening in the next year or two.

Yeah thats true.

Frank Mir talked crap about boxing as well, now after practicing the sport and getting lit up by super middleweight boxers in sparring, hes showing alot of appreciation for it.
