Yet another win in the away corner for the Spain-based Romanian! That’s TJ Doheny, David Oliver Joyce and Brad Foster now. Plus pushing Michael Conlan close.

Respect to Foster for taking a hard fight like this after a loss but he was outworked and out-hustled tonight. Baluta is a tough nights work for anyone on this level and looking forward to seeing him get some bigger fights now.

Baluta is just a tough sob who seems to not care who the other name on the contract is.

Obviously far comparison but reminds me a bit of Glen Johnson.

Picked him to win this one going away. Not sure why Foster was seen as the favorite or why anyone thought this was an upset. Doheny would beat the brakes off of him, and quite frankly Joyce would probably UD him as well. Baluta is a beast, and a nightmare for all but the top tier at Super Bantamweight and Welter.

I once called this guy a record padder, I couldn't have been more wrong and ignorant with that lable. He feasts on warriors from the British-Irish Isles.
