Well Bhoys, what's the craic? Was wonderin if anyone had heard if Rogie had been in for his back op yet??
Your more than welcome Puca,Willie McLaughlin won fighter of the championships, and I would go along with that strongly. He's fast, powerful and has knock-out power in both hands. Willie would make a superb pro. David Walsh the losing finalist at middle is one for the future, he was old maned out of by O'Kane this time around, but he should learn by that and come back better. The two Light-welters Donnelly and Gallagher were excellent also. Donnelly showed great boxing ability and a solid chin[ having to stand up to Gallaghers thumping hooks]. Young Conlon at flyweight is a regular Willo the Wisp as he defeated Dalton again, and there is definitely a national senior championship title in this kid if not this year then next. Rogan was in hospital on Friday , he sent a message of support to the boxers and fans at the Andytown Leisure Centre. In the message he stated that he expects to be back in the ring soon.
I heard a rumour he is defo coming back- but i cant see him fighting as a co main event if it is a big name??? I heard after he lost to Kiko Bernard was a little upset when Peters sugested he should fight on an undercard!
According to the article on Irish-Boxing.com Lee Murtagh vs Anthony Fitzgerald is still going ahead but it is still off BoxRec for some reason....... Can anyone shed any light on the subject......
