So where is the place for Mr. Sweeney? If I was big Mike I would be fuming and starting to get paranoid about being ducked!

Prizefighter Winner Willie 'Big Bang' Casey Back In Actin On June 26

Dolphil promotions are proud to announce that Prizefighter 2010 Champion Willie 'Big Bang' Casey makes his eagerly awaited return to the ring this month following his dramatic triumph in last months Super Bantamweight knockout competition. With one eye on top spot in the division, Casey steps into the ring in the Neptune Sports Arena, Cork 26/6/2010 hoping to extend his unbeaten record to 9-0..

Brave Casey who has been dubbed the next Ricky Hatton was delighted with last month’s events, revealed how it was a chance to grab with both hands.

"It was a great opportunity and if a big fight comes up then I will always take it.

"Prizefighter came along and without hesitation I accepted it. I was a bit edgy before the start as I normally come on stronger in the later rounds, but then I had a fast start in my first fight."

He added: "I showed a lot of character and that I have a big heart as there were some great lads in this.
"Who knows what the future holds?

"I might get a shot at the European title after winning Prizefighter. I'm very proud of everything I've done."

When asked about current contenders for the European title, Casey is quick to remind you just how far he has come in the last four fights, and you wouldn’t back against the Limerick man to now go all the way to the top.

'People have been mentioning names to me like Paulie Hyland, Kiko Martinez, Wayne McCullough- bring them all on'

...'In this game you have to beat the best to get to the top and that’s what I’ll keep doing, I went over to fight the Canadian Champion in his back yard and knocked him out, now I’ve just won Prizefighter so none of these names phase me in the slightest'

After the fight in Canada, Cave was full of praise for the Limerick boxer saying ‘he’s by far the hardest hitter I’ve ever fought, his body shots were too hard to handle...’.

After his fight in Cork, Big Bang is set to headline for the first time in Citywest 7th Aug, which Dolphil Promotions have labeled ‘The Homecoming’ which will also feature Irish champions John ‘The Warrior’ Waldron and Anthony ‘The Pride’ Fitzgerald. Also on the card is Darren Cruise & JJ Mc Donagh
