I presume you are talking about Byrne? All a bit hypothetical right now but Byrne would need to start fighting over here a lot more regularly to get rated in europe and I think the lightest he has ever been was still 4 pounds over lightweight so he might be better going for McCloskey at light welter if hes looking for a European title shot.

I'd say Byrne would need to string a few fights against Euro opposition together before he'd be in the reckoning. I'm all for giving a fighter a break but many other people would be due their shot before him as things stand

Whats happening with O'Sullivan? Did he ever get his licence sorted? Ormond is out on Ricky Burns undercard again in Dec but Spike isn't, as of yet

Wouldnt be Byrne at 135. Think Byrne was calling Murray out a while back for the Irish Title at 140.
Be interesting to see how Ormond develops in the next 12 months at 135 though

Byrne wont fight at 135 he was looking to fight Murray at 140

and anyways Byrne would need to have another 4 fights in europe before being eligable for a euro title:deal

Deans best off staying over in the US. In the future you would hope to see him box at home on the odd card once a year thing to build up more of a fanbase here. You never know maybe Peters might see about getting him on RTE. Can you imagine a card over here with all the American based Irish fighting on it. Lee v Duddy could be the headline fight. Along with Byrne and Kavanagh on the undercard that could fill out the o2 with ease.

could be a good fight but i dont see any other result other than a moore win and a knockout win at that
