Seen exclusive qoutes I got of team Poonsawat in the book twice!! delighted, gutted i didnt get a name recognition-that would have been class- anyone know if I can get them to put my name in a second round of prints!!! haha!

    stapleton your some boy

I'm surprised you'd say this after the way you tried to assassinate his charachter by talking of a come back in the mirror on so many occasions :deal

    some cheek on you! ;)

He should relinquish his Irish title. Ian Tims says he wants the fight with Martin Rogan. Get it on. Title fight in Cork for January.

Timms and Barrett would be a better fight.Timms is light for a cruiser not to mind Heavy.
Maybe throw Sweeny into the mix against the winner.

The Dunne book was a good read. At times with some of the books you get from fighters just retired they arent worth it. Peters seemed a right **** to work with at times. Saying that for us boxing fans we were lucky to have Dunne since he came home from the US boxing has been booming big time mainly down to him and Peters.

At the top it seems to be a 2 horse race with Tomas leading Damian by 23 points.

Down in the relegation zone Paddy is holding us all up at the bottom of the league with support from Tony and Erik. Still loads of time left for them to move up the table. The league is ranked a lowly 12,020 we are at best Sunday league standard at the moment.

Who do ye reckon they'll get in to face Casey and Byrne?

Esham Pickering for Casey? Would do him the world of good to face someone so experienced.

Colin Lynes or Barry Morrison for Irish Lightning?

Probably being unrealistic there but I hope they get in guys who aren't complete cans. They both need to get rounds in against stiff opposition.

Would love that but as you said highly unlikely,2 tough eastern europeans is the best we can hope for.Guys that will stand there and take a beating for 6 rounds or so.

Lynes' jab would be too much for "Lightening" at this stage...
Would Byrne have any chance of making Lightweight?

what do you think of Henry Coyle? I watched his fight in castlebar and Dave McCauley thinks hes improved a lot since the last time he fought in Ireland 2 years ago. Id agree that he has gotten better albeit aginst journeyman type competition. He seems to be a lot less reckless than he was 2 years ago, picks his punches better and has improved his defense a bit. Hes got decent speed, good power and a bit of boxing skill. If it wasnt for his shaky chin i could see him doing very well at european level. I still think he can get some meaningful fights and wins under his belt provided he keeps on improving.
