This lad is deluded.If Fitz thinks a win against Kevin Hammond will get him talked about in the same circles as Andy lee and John Duddy he has been on some illegal substance for sure.
As for him calling out John duddy already that is just very very sad the act of a little boy trying to grow up too quickly.:nut

 

Anyone see the daily mail today? Good piece in it about Andy Murray possibly fighting for the world title outdoors in Cavan next year!! Peters says hes looking at the IBF champ, miguel Vasquez. I'd give Murray a good chance against him on home soil, he'd be the underdog but Vasquez is nothing special at all.

 

Did u miss the part were he said he hopes the win will move him up and EVENTUALLY up there wit the likes of Duddy and Lee :huh

 

He hes embarassing himself talking like that. He barely beat ciaran healy when healy only had a weeks notice so how can he talk about Duddy and Lee, from the fights i have seen him in it's hard to believe he can go beyond irish titles.

Holy smokes that would be unreal. That would be scheduled for the Summer in that case if its gonna be outside which means it would only be a fight or two away.

 

Michael Marley says that there is a chance of Martinez/Lee happening next year.

Part of me is excited about seeing Lee stepping up, but a more intelligent part of me knows that this is a bad move. You can't expect to challenge the middleweight king without having fought a single top ten fighter!

 

He isnt ready for that yet though, unless his next couple of fights before he fights for a title are good step ups in competition he should probably wait a while before challenging

At least he prepared to take the chance not like some fighters in this country , he hasn't got the best of skill but at least he will give it a go , apart from macklin , Lee, duddy he's the best of a bad bunch in Ireland !

 

Fitz should fight healy again instead of calling out Duddy - he is nowhere near Duddy's level - it is laughable, to be honest.
